"Great hotel, perfect location, lovely staff."
Booked through Expedia and cheekily requested a room with a view of Edinburgh Castle but acknowledged that as it was Festival season and I wasn't paying "top dollar" my request was a non-starter. On arrival we were greeted by Peter on reception who was friendly, welcoming and informative and advised us that we'd got a free upgrade. Our room DID have a wonderful, large picture window with a perfect view of the Castle - we were thrilled. The room, itself, had everything the weary traveller would expect or could hope for and I can't recommend it highly enough. Rooms with the Castle view also overlook the Grassmarket which is a busy bar/restaurant area so naturally this gets a little noisy during the evening but the view was worth it and another little attention to detail by the hotel were the earplugs available in the room.

"Nice hotel near city center."
Very pricey. On future trips will choose different lodging and different time of year to avoid festivals. Traveling with other couples so room selections were limited to satisfy all.

"Great hotel in great location"
My mother and I stayed at the Fraser Suites for 6 nights while in Edinburgh and were extremely pleased with the hotel. The hotel was in a perfect location - located only about 5 blocks from the castle and right in the midst of many of the shops and sights on the Royal Mile. All hop-on-hop-off buses make a routine stop less than 2 blocks from the hotel, and city bus service is equally available. St Giles Cathedral is right across the street. We had a room with two twin beds and it was nicely appointed, clean, and equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle. The room also had dishes and silverware for our use - we had our breakfast in the room just about every morning and sometimes also had dinner. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant that caters to the hotel provides a full buffet breakfast, which we enjoyed one morning, but for those who want a smaller option there is small restaurant next to the hotel that provides delicious foods, and St Giles Cathedral has a restaurant in the basement that serves a good breakfast (including a large bowl of Scottish porridge with grated apple, honey, and a jug of thick cream - absolutely divine!). We highly recommend this hotel to others.

"Amazing apartment on the royal mile"
I chose a weekend break in Edinburgh and Stay Edinburgh was the greatest choice I could have made! The apartment was incredible, it was spacious, clean, full of amenities and right on the central portion of the royal mile! The staff were very friendly and were available whenever we needed assistance. I will certainly go back to stay Edinburgh when I'm traveling there again. It made the weekend special!

"Character property close to Princes Street"
Beautiful apartment within a Georgian property approx 5 minutes walk from Princes street. Very pleasing interior design with modern amenities including free fast WIFI. Each apartment is self contained and offers a peaceful and relaxing escape from the frenzy of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Close by is a parade of shops, restaurants and cafés.
