Fountain Court Apartments – Grove has 43 apartments in 3 separate 5-story buildings. 1- and 2-bedroom apartments have modern living rooms, separate dining areas, and fully-equipped kitchens with stoves/hobs, refrigerators, and microwaves. All include flat-screen television with select Sky channels. i-Pod docks and DVD players are available upon request.
These recently renovated rooms feature pine furnishings and washers/dryers. Tiled bathrooms come with walk-in showers or shower/tub combinations.
Continental breakfast is available in apartments on request (surcharge). All apartments are non-smoking.

A daily fee permits guests access to the nearby Virgin Active Health Club. The club comprises a gymnasium, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room, and offers beauty treatments at additional cost.
Arthur's Seat, three miles from the EQ-2, offers many different walks with views over Edinburgh Castle and the old town and, on clear days, to the Ochil Hills and the Firth of Forth. There are over 20 golf courses in and around the city.

“Fabulous apartments! Will return!!”
Clean, warm and well equipt! Location not as near to city centre as first thought, 5 mins walk we were told, never found that route! 15 mins! Taxi ride cheap thou 6 pounds for four, or a bike carriage, lovely way to see the sights, for 2 people 5 pounds. Great touch was the breakfast feast in the apartment,milk,bread,butter,jam,tea,coffee, sugar,weetabix, and cornflakes. Also i liked the gated entrance at the front of the apartments, only enter with a key!
“Couldn't fault it”
Arrived very early, and was allowed to check in as our room was already ready :) It was a gorgeous room, or should i say apartment, with a fresh uncut loaf, butter, jam, milk and cereal in the fridge. Dishwasher and washing tablets also provided. Apart from a power cut on Friday, it was absolutely marvellous! Had a really lovely time Highly Recommended

Edinburgh is very expensive and parking is very difficult. Fountain Court (at least through Expedia) was reasonable and offered secure free parking. The spot is an excellent one. We were completely satisfied.
“Fantastic value for a very reasonable price”
Our visit to Edinburgh came right after we spent 3 days in London. We had heard (from other travellers' reviews) that hotels in Britain, although comfortable, were much smaller than ones in the US and were expecting Fountain Court to conform to this description as our London hotel had. We were pleasantly surprised to see that our room in Fountain Court was actually a completely furnished 2-bedroom apartment (we had reserved a room for three), fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and washer/dryer. We also received the widest selection of TV channels anywhere on our trip in Europe (the other hotels offered around 10 channels whereas Fountain Court offered at least 100). The hotel is securely located in a gated community with excellent access to local restaurants, pubs, and is within walking distance (a fast 15 minute walk) of Edinburgh's prime attraction, Edinburgh castle. We visited the Castle thrice (once to see the castle itself, once to visit the Royal Mile, and once since it was a pick-up point for our Rosslyn Chapel tour) and returned by foot without any hassles. One of our tours ended at 11:45 PM but we walked back to our hotel without anyone accosting us. We would definitely recommend this hotel and its location to all other travellers.
“Excellent hotel”
We would certainly stay at this Hotel again. Very good value for money. The only tiny comment would be that the shower is probably the smallest shower I have ever been in. Not the place to stay if you are over 6' tall or weigh over 200lbs. Otherwise we would highly recommend it!
“Can't find fault”
3 nights in the Fountain Court Apartments and it was hard to fault. This really is a home from home and everyhing down to bread and milk is provided. If you are looking for 5 star service with all the trimmings this is probably not what you want but if you are looking for a good comfortable base to enjoy the shopping and nightlife of Edinburgh you couldn't go wrong. We'll be back !
“Fantastic location and service.”
Best location you can ever expect when having only a few days to do some visiting. Right in the heart of Edinburgh a 15 comfortable walk to the Castle and the Royal Mile. We arrived far earlier than check in time however the staff were most pleasant offering to keep our luggage while we started our sighseeing. Once back to the apartment we followed the instructions to our room and voila, our luggage was there as well. The facilities in the apartment were amazing and everything in working order.Complimentary coffee,tea and milk were provided every day which is no doubt a personal touch. On our departure again, we had the rest of the day to sightsee until our flight and the staff at the hotel were once again very helpful and permitted us to leave our luggage free of charge for the rest of the day. I would definitely recommend them.

“Excellent séjour !”
Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits à l'hôtel, le temps de trouver notre logement dans Edinburgh pour les mois suivants. Nous avons été ravi de ce séjour, le personnel est absolument charmant et disponible. Nous avons été très bien renseignés sur la ville, toujours avec une envie d'aider et de faire plaisir apparente. L'hôtel est situé à une dizaines de minutes à pied de Princess Street (principale rue du centre ville). Plusieurs bus passent aux abords et en particulier celui qui vient de l'aéroport. pour ceux qui préfèrent la taxi : nous avons payé £11 lors de notre arrivée. La disposition du bâtiment permet une grande liberté (impression d'être chez soi puisqu'on ne passe pas devant la réception à chaque fois que l'on sort). L'appartement est très propre et avec tout l'équipement qu'on pourrait attendre (lave linge, lave vaisselle, bouilloire, four etc etc + les petits détails qui facilitent la vie du style doses de lessives etc). La connexion internet se fait très bien, et on dispose en plus d'une salle internet qui permet d'imprimer plans etc si nécessaire. A recommander !
