“Homey, friendly, quiet stay”

This B&B is 10 min. drive or a 30 min bus ride from the center of Edinburgh. The proprietors are friendly and helpful and the accommodations adequate, pleasant, and clean. The bathrooms are a tad small, but such is often the case for homes remodeled as B&Bs. The neighborhood is nice, and the inn is across the street from a major castle and park, Craigmillar. There is a nice restaurant next door (but it closes at 8 pm) and a very nice restaurant (Salisbury Arms) about a 5 min. drive on Old Dalkieth towards town.
