“Friendly and helpful staff”
We stayed at the Apex hotel for 3 nights in September while we took in the sights of the city of Edinburgh. The staff were especially helpful, providing us with maps and tips of where to go in the city. The rooms are kept to a high standard and we would definitely go back there
“Great experience”
We had a very good experience. Room was nice for the price and staff was very helpful at the front desk. Staff in the restaurant was very accomodating to special dietary needs.
“Apex European”
The staff was awesome and so friendly and helpful. Our room was small but very comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful view from our room. The lift was not working so we had to climb 5 flight of stairs but that was the only negative thing. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed the food. Would absolutely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our hotel room. The decor was really warm, two housecoats and slippers were on the king-sized bed. The staff was courteous and helpful. The food in the dinning room was gourmet quality and service great.
“Absolutely Perfect”
we loved our Apex Waterloo accomodations, they were perfectly situated to everything, close in location for sightseeing, eats, and strolling the royal mile. we would without doubt return to this hotel again in the future, The food was perfectly prepared, everyone was attentive and friendly. Our presonal rating 10 stars!

Best hotel i've ever stayed in!
“Edinburgh Hogmanay- Time of my life!”
The hotel was a perfect walking distance to Princes Street and on the 100 bus route from the airport. The staff were extremely helpful and friendy- they even gave handed us mulled wine awhen we walked in reception fter an extremely cold day walking around beautiful Edinburgh. Highly recommended!
“Nice European Room”
Overall a pretty nice hotel with a decent amount of room, especially compared to others we stayed in. There was ample closet space, included an iron/board and had a good sized desk. The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice overall. Seems more geared towards business travelers, but still a nice place for everyone. Included a free rubber ducky too!
