« An excellent property to rent outside of Edinburgh. Perfect for dogs and families. The cottage was warm and well lit when we arrived and the fireplace was already prepped with a basket full of logs. The manager of the property was very friendly and she came over to introduce herself and check we had everything we needed. Strongly recommend and will be going back. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Chesnut Cottage ! Very cosy, warm, welcoming little house ! Thank you for welcoming us and our dog ! The Arniston Estate is lovely, very calm. A nice place for walks. Very dark at night, we had the chance to see plenty of stars when the sky was clear enough. The fireplace with everything needed and the bathtube were the cherry on top ! Easy to access from Edinburgh airport. The train station of Gorebridge is also a big plus. 25min by train and you're in the town...

« Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. »

Sonia nous a alors proposé un autre logement plus spacieux, mais un peu plus décentré, sur Stockbridge. Elle s’est régulièrement assurée que tout allait bien. Elle fut vraiment charmante et efficace! Nous avons adoré notre logement et le quartier de Stockbridge. »

« Advertised as a luxury stay, which it looked like, online. I asked if I could book 5 days but only the full 7-day week was available, which stretched the budget. Check-in seamless. « We were a group aged nine to eighty. There was a lot on offer to cater for us all. There were nine of us and the place was big enough for us to spread out and enjoy varying activities. A bus stop outside going into Edinburgh was a bonus. Would highly recommend it. Does Scotland proud! »

« Beautiful property with great location walking distance to Gullane facilities including golf courses, beach walks, restaurants, coffee shop and supermarkets. House was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view onto village green and the kitchen area was spacious too. All in all highly recommend. »
