Stayed here before - since then rooms have "recently" been refurbished...... OK before - better now - well done to John & team Food good - Beer good

“Old English Inn on coast”

Old English Inn on the coast. Great view of the Engilish Channel. good location for trips into Brighton. Good bus service, Nice breakfast and good dinner options at the inn. We upgraded to a water view room with small balcony for 10 pounds and it was worth it. the first room overlooked the street and was relatively noisy.

“Reception manner is not make me feel welcome.”

When we arrived the hotel, the receptionist whose facial expression didn't make us that welcome. I asked him about the map of Brighton and another questions, but he wasn't very helpful. The room needs to updated and also smell weird, possibly tried to cover smokes smell. Breakfast is good selection but apart from that I don't think the reception manner is not good enough to make me feel I will go back again.
