“Lovely experience”
I would highly recommend the Grand Hotel. Clean, comfortable, great pool and spa facilities, and the staff were most helpful.
“Always a pleasure to stay in this hotel”
Plenty parking, friendly and efficient staff, great location. Does Gluten free food and there is a good 10k run along the seafront and back.
“Home from Home - Will always go back when in the area”
Excellent Service - Both restaurants offer a super menu at similar prices - Mirabelles is more a la carte - Breakfast was efficient with plenty to choose from. Leisure facilities are very good - Only down side is the lack of parking if you check in later in the evening - Currently there is ample close by free on street parking although this may change from the 1st Oct when the local council are seeking to charge - With a 5* Hotel outside of London I do expect to park in the hotel after a tiring journey or my car taken away to be parked by the concierge at the very least. The management will have to carefully consider its approach if fees are introduced.
“Excellent service and quality.”
A five star hotel which lived up to expectations. The style of the hotel was as grand as the name, but nothing was overbearing. High Tea was a delight and the restaurant exceptional. The room was comfortable, well equiped and cleaned and serviced well, but the bed was slightly saggy. It was pricy, but value for money. I would happily visit again.
“Excellent Eastbourne”
Fantastic 5 star charming hotel. Could not do enough for my family (aged 8 and 3) who were extremely well looked after. Inc. arrival pack, high tea, play room and quiz. Milk and cookies at bedtime. Madeleine was superb. I do think that adults should really have that kind of thing too! GO!
“a jewel on the south coast”
The welcome is excellent. The doormen will park your car for you although at present parking is short as they are remodelling the front garden. Reception was a little slow both on arriving and departing. The staff are all very helpful and polite. The room was large and comfortable. The shower was great- really powerful. The bed was a little soft but that is the only gripe. Bottled water provided free in the rooms and replenished for nighttime. The breakfast is very filling with a huge choice of fruit, cold meats and patisseries. All sorts of cooked breakfasts available, although it's better to ask for one to be cooked than to get it from the servery. It is a very relaxing break.
“5 Star Expectation”
The Grand Hotel (Eastbourne), is everything you would expect plus much more. The service is top class. The rooms are maintained to the highest standard. The food was fantastic. We could not find a single negative point! All in all a night at the Grand is a thoroughly relaxing experience. You will want to stay for longer. Perfect!
“je recommande”
le charme du vieil hotel british.A recommander.
“Amazing”
This really is a grand hotel, the public areas of the hotel as stunning and the service is of a very high standard. This is one of the best hotels we have every stayed in.
“excellent hotel”
Great hotel, although at first the room reminded me of a grandma's living room. Once i have got used to the old feel it was excellent, The design within the ceilings and walls is fantastic with lots of seating places and the feel of the hotel is friendly and welcoming. Excellent staff.
