We supply a wide range of hot and cold foods which we hope cater to everyone. Breakfast is complimentary which includes Toast (option of jams), Freshly made English Breakfast (Bacon, Sausages, Mushrooms, Scrambled Eggs and Beans), Cereals (Crunchy nut, Fruit'N'Fibre and Alpen), Fruits (Banana, Peach and Pineapple) and Yogurt. Your feedback will be passed on.

Good Location but a couple of Odd Issues !
Great location and good breakfast (breakfast staff very friendly) however my basic room didn`t have a chair to sit on, lucky there were two steps up into the bathroom so I was perched like a little pixie on a toad stall to watch tv. When I asked for a chair I was told that the room was small and he didn`t think it would fit !! Trust me having been in smaller rooms in Japan, a chair really would fit. Warning sign not to drink the water in the room. Yep, not quite something that you expect to see in a UK Hotel room in the 21st Century. The water was rather slimy to touch and therefore I didn`t want to shower in it either.

Hotel was clean but a bit outdated. Furniture could do with being upgraded. Curtains torn. Bed comfortable. Foyer could do with a bit of work doing on it as not very welcoming. Staff, particularly the waitresses at Breakfast were lovely.

Highly recommended! Tasty breakfast.
Absolutely lovely stay at the Beach Hotel and would highly recommend a stay here! Good things: Very welcoming reception staff helped us with a room change, as we booked 2 rooms and wanted them closer together. Clean and comfortable bed. Lovely airy room overlooking the beach. Plenty of very tasty breakfast, the best cooked breakfast i have had for a long time. Central location to the pie, shops and restaurants. Will definately book here again as we enjoyed our stay. Reasonable prices. Thank you.

Great location, lovely room with a view
Fantastic stay with a lovely sea view from room 10. Ideal location across the road from the beach and i360 plus close to The Lanes. All staff were so helpful and breakfast was enjoyable. We had a delcious meal at The Regency next door the first evening

Perfect Family Holiday
We have really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel with its fantastic location, just two minutes away from the beach, and unblocked side view of the sea front, spacious 4 beds room with very comfy and super clean beds and en-suite bathroom & full English breakfast is included ... will definitely be coming back soon ...

Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Excellent service especially at breakfast. Very close to the beach, clean room. The only downside is, there was no wifi in the room. It was only available in the lounge. I guess this is ok if you’re avoiding to use the internet as a part of your holiday. Otherwise, great place to stay! Very approachable staff.

Geat Location, Fantastic Character
Beautiful old style city hotel in a great location for shopping, Brighton Pier and the lanes. Would highly recommend and is reasonably priced as well.

Great location, very generously sized room with amazing sea views - we were pleasantly surprised! Good hospitality and unlimited breakfast. The only issue was that the lining had been cut out of the curtains so sunlight came pouring in at 6am disturbing our sleep.Disappointing as the hotel could buy blackout liners for about £30! Overall great value for money and would stay again.

The room was excellent, with amazing views. The bathroom was small, but had enough space for one person at a time to use it. The only comment I would make is that the kettle was too big to get under the tap in the sink, so we had to climb into the bath to fill it. Other than that, it was marvellous - excellent value for the money paid. I was pleased that breakfast was still provided - both hot and cold - despite the current restrictions in place for Covid-19.

This hotel had a lovely view. The service way amazing and very friendly. The bathroom was clean and cozy and the breakfast wonderful. I will however add that the staires are very steep and narrow and the lift almost never works so for someone who has issues with there legs this was a problem especially haveing stayed on the top floor. I do feel as if this could be states on the hotels description.

Our lift hasn't been out of service, we tell all our guests that when they leave the lift they must close the gate otherwise it wont move floors, there are also multiple signs inside the lift stating this. If it wasn't working that would be the reason that someone has left it open I'm afraid.

Quick and easy to check in. Good location of seafront hotel. The staffs are friendly. However the hotel is a bit outdated and dirty. No air conditioning in room and restaurants. Very hard to get to sleep in hot summer regards to this. Very pricey for 2 star hotel.

Breakfast was sub-par; the fruit was tinned, the hot food wasn't in the room and was incredibly greasy, plus all of the cereal options contained nuts. The mattress was incredibly saggy and the room, though large, was very cold. The bath was dirty and the pillows were lumpy. Staff were nice.

Breakfast is complimentary from The Beach Hotel, we provide fresh bananas as well as tinned fruits. When it is quiet we keep the hot food in the kitchen to save on time and to keep it as fresh as possible. Please alert the staff to any nut allergies and we can see what we can do to accommodate. We apologise for the temperature, we can provide heaters on request from the reception and we have taken note for the pillows and bath to get this looked at.

Brighton weekend stay
Stayed for 3 nights whilst I participated in the Brighton Half Marathon. Hotel a little tired looking in places ( bedroom curtains needed to be replaced as ripped - maybe due to windows being so high you can’t open and close them easily ) but rooms very clean & the bed was really comfy. Staff very friendly. Breakfast sufficient for my needs. My room had a partial sea view which was great even though it was blowing a hoolie most days ! Would I stay here again ? Yes I would x

We stayed in the Beach Hotel for one night as we were competing in the Brighton half marathon. It was a great location for everything. The family room we had was comfortable enough but needs updating. Beds were spacious and comfortable but a bit "tired". Breakfast was good. This hotel served its purpose and we would stay there again. We did not have huge expectations nor were we looking for luxury accommodation.

Staff friendly and helpful. Good location, clean and old but good value for money, attached restaurant very good. Council underground parking opposite, not cheap but convenient. Very old 2 person lift!

Brilliant stay!
It's brilliant "The Beach hotel". I arrived with my friends that I thought It's 4 stars but I saw somewhere that this hotel's 2 stars. I stayed at Room 10. I feel comfortable & very clean bedroom & bathroom. Breakfast's good option. Price is good.. If I come to Brighton again or in the future that I would book this hotel. It's the same as friends. Thanks.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Location great, staff seemed nice, basic but ok. Had a shock when during the night i turned over one of the pillows to find it was covered in blood and nastiness. Really disappointed. I did report to the reception when checking out. Wont stay there again
