We spent a night at this hotel while visiting Peoria. The hotel is easy to find, near 74. There is a mall nearby with dining and shopping options.
The room was clean and comfortable, and larger than could be expected for this price range. We all got a good sleep, even the children who were on the sofa bed.
It included free WiFi and breakfast. The breakfast itself was lackluster, with hash browns (which tested a bit stale), what tasted like microwaved bacon, but good enough eggs and pancakes, and a few cereal choices.
The indoor pool is a nice size, but there were not enough towels or chairs.
For a budget hotel this hotel was as expected.
The staff was very friendly
The hotel was very clean and staff was very nice. Computers were very slow making check-in and check-out very slow. You do have to go to front desk to check out. The breakfast was marginal but satisfactory for the price of room. The hotel has a small bar that also sells frozen pizzas, which were actually quite tasty! did'nt use the pool, but the area looked clean and the folks using it were having a good time. My only suggestion would be they really need to replace the mattresses. They were so worn, there was a divot/hole in the middle of the bed that I kept rolling into when having to share the bed with my husband. (Room we had housed 2 double beds.) The room and bathroom were extremely clean...I was very impressed! I would say, I would return for sure if they change mattresses. Overall, a great place.
East Peoria is situated across the Illinois River from downtown Peoria. Several Caterpillar Inc. facilities are here, along with two colleges and a casino. The annual Festival of Lights features decorative light displays, including floats adorned with LED-lights. EastPort Marina is a major port for boaters in the area and those passing through.
