Nice hotel....quiet, clean & CHEAP

Pros: Very cheap but but well furnished.
Cons: SHUTTLE?....have to call @Newark for pickup and arrange night before departing...& was late ...for most this is an automated service. #2 Breakfast.
Location: Main road has stores & there are groceries, pharmacies & eating places nearby....might have to walk 5 - 10 minutes but not too bad.
Booked at the last minute and was VERY surprised at the amenities given the price & time (summer)...decent place if you're caught between a rock and a hard place or just passing through. Breakfast could be better though.

Our flight was cancelled for the night and we couldn't get a rental car out of where we were. We were stranded in a city we weren't supposed to be in with two small children and a pregnant girl. All the other hotels were solidly booked and then we stumbled across this one. It was the lowest price, free shuttle to pick us up and drop us off in the morning and they make sure you get the delivery to room menus before you head up to your room. Very friendly and clean! Seriously saved us from having to stay in the airport for 15 hours.

Good Hotel - Near to NJ transit rail line.

Pros: Hotel staff were friendly and very good.
Cons: Breakfast area was very crowded. Need to manage properly.
Hotel room was neat and clean. Easy to take train to reach NY Penn Station -near to NJ transit rail line . Breakfast was good but very crowded all the time. Cons:

A clean but shabby bargain option

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Need a better breakfast area with healthier options: whole wheat, fruit, eggs. yogurt. Dump the mystery meat sausage !!! Replace all carpets.
Location: Rather depressed and desolate area. Good Chinese take out 1 block away.
We only stayed here for a night due to Newark airport transfer. Hotel is about 20 min. drive from airport

IT smells the staff is not friendly at all. also they lied they said they would have a shuttle to pick us up at the airport that all we had to do is call them and they would send one,well they didnt we had to spend and extra 80 dollars for two taxi.From the moment we got their we just wanted to leave the surronding area is horrible its not safe the rooms are bad and dirty it just was very bad.

Pros: the staff was friendly.
Location: The location was fine for me the area did look a little dangerous but no one bothered me. The parking lot is small.
The hotel was ok for me. The complimentary breakfast area is a little small no where to sit. Needs ice machine on each floor. The walls are thin.

Pros: House keeping staff was ok.
Cons: Change Management
My visit at the Ramada was not good during my three day stay in room 516, the telephone was out of order and elevator # 1 was out of service for three day. Report problems to management, but got no satisfaction.
