“good place to lay your head”

“Exactly what we expected.”

Our desire was a convenient, inexpensive hotel to spend the night and cut down on some of our drive time to our destination. The room was as clean as it could be for an older hotel. The gal at the desk was very nice and immediately let us know that the hotel had several railroad workers staying there but they had to work the next day and probably wouldn't be loud. They weren't so we slept well. We had no problems. We left the next morning early but I got the impression the gal at the desk the next morning was not as friendly and gracious as the gal the day before. We will probably stay there again until we have a bad experience.

“Not Impressed”

The people who worked there were nice enough. The sheets were VERY scratchy and made me itch to the point of keeping me awake. I admit I have sensitive skin, but this has NEVER happened to me in a hotel before. The pillows were not good either. It appeared clean. They allowed me to bring my puppies. The "breakfast" options were pure sugar. Some fresh fruit or eggs, bacon, or sausage would have been a nice option to sweet rolls, sugary cereal, frozen waffles, and toast or biscuits. I will try to avoid staying in a Super 8 in the future.
