“Would go back again”
My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was quite big and the staff was friendly, even though, in all fairness, we had limited contact with the hotel staff. We went to Duesseldorf for a wedding so were out most of the day, staying in the room only to sleep. We would consider staying there again and would definitely recommend to others.

Best hotel for shopping location in Dusseldorf. Only negative is Internet access is not free actually very expensive.

There was a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel but the hotel was very nice and the majority of the staff were very helpful and spoke good english which was a real bonus for me. Its proximaty to old town and shopping was fantastic. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Superb Facilities”
My wife and I stayed in the hotel for a conference/sightseeing trip. The standards of service and food were the very highest, in fact we only dined in the hotel restraunt for one night, but enjoyed the meal there more than any others we had in Dusseldorf. Lovely Room and Lovely people. I wish them very well
“Best location in town”
I have used this hotel for many years and it is my first choice when I go to Dusseldorf. It is located next to a nice city park [ducks and geese for the kids], at the end of Koenigs Allee [great shops for the ladies] and minutes from the Aldstadt [restaurants and bars for everyone]and Opera. One good recommendation is that evert time there is an exhibition in town this is the first hotel to be fully booked, in spite of the price.
“Well-located and well-kept older property”
This hotel has a very good location across the street from the Altstadt and is well-maintained. The room was large, spotless and extremely quiet. The large bathroom appeared freshly renovated. Note that couryard rooms have no view to speak of. Service was good and helpful. I would definitely return here. On the negative side, beware the breakfasts, as they are very expensive. Also, the ambiance--while classy, might seem stuffy or overly traditional to some.
