“Excellent Value and Location”
Close to the main train station Good prize and a quality hotel Free internet - where elsewhre I pay 9 Euros for 60 minutes.
“Excellent hotel”
Close to station and a short hop (in a taxi) to the Old Town where all the bars and restaurants are. Friendly, efficient staff and clean, modern rooms. Great sauna and mini-gym in the basement. Highly recommended.
“I would recommend it”
This hotel is located not too far a walk from the main train station, but about a 20 minute walk to the main part of town where it all happens, so consider what is more important to you location wise. The unlimited free Wifi was great and the service and quality of hotel were great, as was the breakfast with both a continental option and a Japanese option. The wellness centre has a sauna but only very limited gym equipment and limited times. Overall I enjoyed my stay and it was topped off with receiving a lunch pack on check out which was a great surprise.
“It is quite great for Asians, Hotel Asahi”
I did be supraised for the room of Hotel Asahi because there was a kitchen in the room. Although there was no chance for me in my business trip to use it, but the japaness breakfast is really impressed. Next Time, I will still choose this Hotel once I get back to Duesseldorf once again!
“Good standard of accommodation”
We booked a double room, but were initially given a twin room. When we complained we were given a ''double'' room, but it was actually just two single beds pushed together, which kept sliding apart!
“Internet is not working properly !!!”
Internet is not working during 3 days stay. Sometime is on, but slow, this has to be sorted even eur10 is on top of the room fee as this is business hotel. A lot of guests are complaining I think as I stayed during exhibition period. It's unique that Japanese breakfast is complimentary but I am disappointed at internet situation as I needed to find internet zone outside which is pretty bad.
