“I can't stand twin beds!”
stayed in the executive suite but no king-sze bed... I can't stand twin beds!
“A Gem of a Hotel Find in Dusseldorf”
I love this little Hotel. With fewer rooms and a definitively uncorporate feel, it is a rare find for the international traveler. The breakfast spread is outstanding and the service is impeccable. I love the modern, European interior and the courtyard, which most rooms look to.
“Excellent 3 day stay, very impressed”
Really nice hotel, great location. A walk to the main highstreets is less the 10 minutes when you learn the best route. The apartment was very well equipped only thing i would have prefered was an oven over a microwave oven, but who cares about that we ate out in the evenings it was just for breakfast. Really friendly staff, free dvd rental was good and mini bar was very reasonably priced.
“exceptional weekend value for top level facilities”
This place is everything you could wish for for a short break. I took 2 rooms as they are limited to 2 occupants however to be honest these apartments could comforably sleep 4 or more. They are very modern, stylish and comfortable. I thoroughly recommend them. the weekend rate is very cheap. Hotel breakfast is good but a bit pricy
“surprisingly nice hotel in the middle of the city”
All rooms are appartments and very spacious.Nice, modern, great kitchen and overall very bright and airy. Location is excellent. Quiet street, yet in the middle of shopping, close to Old City and train station.Staff was friendly. I would definitely prefer this hotel over others I know close by.
“Great place to stay for little money - would stay there again!”
If you are on a budget but still want a nice place to stay overnight where rooms have a new & fresh look, are clean & the hotel located as much as possible in the middle of all the happening then look nowhere else! Not often you come along a place at this price range where those boxes are all ticked! Arrived early at 12:30pm and was given access to my room. The hotel is approx. 10 min walk from main train station & old historic town center / River Rhein. Shame only was about breakfast not being included in the room rate as far overpriced and no Hotel Bar on site. However, this was not too concerning. If you are on business just get one at the many choices in the train station or if you are on leisure have breakfast in one of the cafes by the River or on the Koenigsallee anyway (much more interesting). Near by Thai restaurant as advertised on the hotels main website had no nice table for one guest for dinner which was disappointing (only tables of fours available....) - it did look amazing though so will try it next time!
“Great location & room, nice place but some flaws..you decide”
Two blocks to major department stores/streets- nice! Big room with balcony, kitchen, 2 tvs (2 channels in English), big bathroom, lots of storage, safe, etc We very much liked the apartment hotel as it was quiet, 6 blocks from train station and ok to walk with luggage. Negatives- Internet service was about eleven/day which I was fine with if it worked. It went up and down constantly and very hard to get work done. If you need to use their service- then I would definitely suggest elsewhere, no matter how nice this place is. This was aggravating to me since it was so inconsistent. Breakfast- is not included with the low Expedia rate that we got but that was no problem as we saved about ninety/night by booking on an expedia special. We just picked up pastry, yogurts, etc from the department store basement grocery 2 blocks away and ate wonderfully for cheap. I asked the clerk how much breakfast would be if we paid directly to the hotel in the morning- eighteen euros per person---I don't think so! Housekeeping- does a wonderful job but refuses to either knock on the door before entering or knocks as they are turning the knob, etc- you think someone is breaking in since they are not announcing themselves Shower- works wonderful but it is one of those fancy ones that has no floor ledge so the water likes to go out into the bathroom- easily solved by using an extra towel on the floor each day Overall, would I stay here again- Yes! If I had to depend on the internet though - No!
“try somewhere else”
The location is walking distance to old town and shopping. The 2 TVs did not work in our suite. I did enjoy the small library of art and architecture books that was in our room and if we were staying a while, the kitchen seemed well equiped. The breakfast at the hotel is not included and costs 18 Euros per person..way too much...but it was too far and took too long to walk anywhere on the day we had to get to the airport. Rooms are not available until 3pm but they did store our luggage until the room was ready. Staff is not especially friendly or helpful.
