“Excellent location, clean hotel, good breakfast, good value!”
The hotel is very well located very close to the main Konigsallee and all other main shopping streets and attractions. A hot buffet breakfast with a good selection was included in the price. The hotel service worked very well and we were happy that they could arrange a room early already at 9 A.M. Overall, excellent value for money and a recommended hotel. The pool was a nice plus. The only downside was that the sauna was just +50C?! Also, the room was a bit on the small side.
“An Old Worn Out Shoe”
I travel frequently on business and am relatively "picky" on where I stay and I always look for good/great value. The Savoy did not meet my expectations, not even close. Staff was decent, but arrogant. The walk to my second floor room included a tiny elavator, two fire doors and another ten downward stairs. What awaited me was a large "closet" which they call a four star hotel room. The property smells old, a single room gets you a bunk smaller than my camping cot and a 2"X2" shower in tiny bathroom. I have stayed in several other hotels in this area of Dusselforf (which is very nice)...do yourself a favor, if you plan on spending anytime in your room, don't stay here.
