for a hotel in the countryside, it seems unacceptable to charge for parking for a car wothout having warned guests at the time of booking of this extra costs. Hotel is comfortable but dated.

😊 The parking was good and hotel nice and clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was plentiful ☹️ When we arrived the room was not made, there were no towels or linen. We alerted housekeeping and 2 hours later the room was finally done, however there were still not enough towels and only 1 small bottle of water provided for a family of 4. The kitchen also closed quite early so we were not able to get anything to eat in the evening.

I stayed here with my 2 children for 4 nights in April 2022. Check in was quick and easy. Parking is in the underground but there were places. Best drop bags off at the front entrance before parking as it's a bit of a distance to walk. The room was excellent and clean. Bedding was of high quality. The bathroom was very new and clean. Good shower etc. In the morning breakfast is served from 7h to 10h30am. A very good range of items to choose from. Only the coffee was not of great quality. Staff failed to keep up with changing crockery/utensils but it wasn't a deal breaker. Best get things yourself. There was an excellent swimming pool. Just avoid Wednesday 18h30 to 19h30 when it is used for a fitness swim event. Otherwise open 08h00 to 21h30. There is a bar - with very slow service. We didn't eat here so can not comment on meals. Unfortunately there was some noise from people outside late at night. I recommend asking for a room facing the front of the hotel. Also some staff foolishy drag chairs or tables around late at night. This creates noise and woke me up each night. I did not use the free wifi. Many comments about this being an old health clinic or hospital but it had no effect on our stay. Services are about 2km away. I consider the hotel a 3 star and not a 4 star facilty. The reception staff were efficient but elsewhere the general service was slow and forgetful. I wasn't the only person to observe this.

Free parking. The breakfast was great, good choice of hot and cold. The hotel is within walking distance to the village centre. Nice pool. Limited service for spa

Quiet, peaceful with great rooms and facilities
Very quiet and peaceful location. Great facilities and rooms comfortable. I had a small comfortable sofa, which was very nice to have after a long day on the road. Good breakfast and the restaurant had a nice selection too.

We had a great check in and our room was great. I used the pool and sauna and that was great also. We saw that you should make a reservation for dinner by calling a number posted in our room and we did so. Upon arriving at the dining room we saw that it was a buffet this night. We walked up to the waitress and asked if we had an assigned table for our reservation. I told her our room number in German as she did not seem to speak English. She could not find our room number on the list and seemed perturbed and called someone and I had to ask her if she had a free table for us. She was not very nice and told us to sit anywhere. She did not bring menus for us to look at and I asked for a schwarzbier and she gave me a look as what was that. My wife asked if she had dunkel bier and she went off to get them. The waitress and bartender seemed to be more interested in playing on their cell phones than helping their customers. I am not a great German speaker but she seemed to not like to help us because we were not speaking proper German. The overall experience was not very good and we will not travel to this hotel again because of this.

The hotel is in good condition, but misses the charm. Bathroom looks like a hospital. The bedroom is large but not so welcoming. Ok to stop for a night but wouldn't stay longer.

Good transit hotel
Spent one night here on the way from Italy. I found a bargain on Expedia so I booked straight away. Good quality for the price I paid. Comfy beds ,good breakfast, good dinner. Cons: No air conditioning. Two of the four waitress didn't speak English.

Spacious rooms in a beautiful country setting
We stayed in Durbach (just outside of Offenburg) for combined business and pleasure. The hotel was once a hospital which has allowed for extra large rooms. This was great for us - it was like having 2 rooms in one and with the windows open looking out to beautiful landscape and vineyards, we really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful towns - both Durbach and Offenburg and a nice country style alternative. We had a car (essential) and enjoyed a drive into the Black Forest and lunch at a vineyard and another day enjoyed a drive into beautiful Strasbourg - thoroughly recommended.

This hotel is a little odd as it used to be a hospital. The hotel website shows photos of only the nicer rooms, not the standard rooms. The standard rooms are actually two separate rooms together, one with a single bed and one with a king bed. This is a nice feature if you are traveling with several people. There are virtually no furnishings except bedside tables and the bathroom is only a shower sharing the same floor as the rest of the bathroom so it is wet. The carpet is very industrial and this felt more like a college dorm room. The building is shared with medical offices which share the same hallway corridor with the guest rooms which is weird. There is also some sort of museum on the top level which we never investigated. Having said that, there is a very nice indoor pool which my kids enjoyed a lot, breakfast was standard european style and the environ is nice and quiet with beautiful hillside vineyards surrounding. The internet is pretty spotty.

Ideal location for Black Forest hikes - can walk to lovely area from hotel door. However, not ideal for city shopping as bus connection to offenburg is infrequent and last bus is at 5pm from Offenburg to Durbach.

Good basic hotel at beautiful country village
No luxury,but everything worked well. Very kind service. Proper, tidy hotel with spacious rooms. Only the internet connection was troublesome. Good supper at hotel restaurant was crowned by excellent local Weissherbst wine.

Hôtel très propre, grand studio familial auquel il ne manque qu’un frigo pour être parfait. Le personnel est sympathique et attentionné mais attention malgré la proximité avec la frontière ne parle pas du tout français. Les frais de parking ne sont pas mentionnés par expédia (supplément de 10 euros par jour). Le dîner du restaurant est exorbitant (30 euros par personne ) par rapport à la qualité, au peu de choix ( buffet de dessert avec 1 seul dessert !) et à la quantité. Le dîner contraste avec le petit déjeuner abondant, varié et gargantuesque. L’espace piscine est grand et agréable il y a un sauna mais nous ne l’avons pas vu en fonction.

Soweit ganz gutes Hotel, Personal könnte etwas zügiger die Tische zum Frühstück abräumen, dann wäre es auch günstig wenn man mit Kindern dieses Hotel besucht wenn es mehr Nutella bzw. Schockicreme geben würde sowie evtl. Kakao.

Net en schoon hotel met ruime kamers en zwembad. Het hotel zit in een voormalige kraamkliniek en is zes jaar geleden verbouwd. Daarom zijn alle kamers suites (ruime hal, pantry, badkamer, slaapkamer en zitkamer). Eind juli is bekend geworden dat de eigenaar er per oktober een zorghotel van gaat maken, dus het is na september niet meer als regulier hotel te boeken.

Das Schwimmbad war schön groß, ideal zum Schwimmen. Service zum Frühstück war nicht sehr freundlich. Vor 9:00 Uhr wurde das Bufett nicht mehr aufgefüllt.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé pour europa park (40mn max) et idem pour Strasbourg. Bien aménagé pour la famille avec un coin cuisine ( évier + plan travail) et chambre enfant.

Für eine Nacht okay
Für eine Nacht okay! Problematisch wird es wenn mit NZF angereist wird, die Tiefgarage hat eine Begrenzung von 1,9m für Sprinter höhere Servicefahrzeuge gibts einen kleinen Seitenstreifen, dieser kostet ebenfalls 10 Euro die Nacht. Der Empfang war bei mir sehr freundlich und bemüht, allgemein ist der Service im Hotel bemüht. Auf deutsch klappt die Kommunikation aber nicht ganz, englisch ist hier von Vorteil. Das Zimmer war groß und das Bett auch, allerdings schon recht in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad war sauber, allerdings blättert die Farbe von der Decke. Essen abends ist ehr auf Kantinen Niveau, wenn man weis was man bekommt ist es okay sonst wäre ich enttäuscht. Frühstück war morgens um 7 Uhr ausreichend und gut. Für mich kein 4 Sterne Haus, da hab ich schon deutlich bessere 2 Sterne Häuser gehabt. (4 Übernachtungen pro Woche)

I do not recommend if you expect 4* service
Closed reception After 22h30. It was written in small caractères in hôtels app and WE didn't pay attention as is was supposée tonbe a 4* hôtel. In addition hotel didn't accepte to reimburse, neither hotel.com despite our call and our gold member status.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Par contre l’hôtel me réclame les petits déjeuners alors que je vous les ai payé à la réservation… Et l’hôtesse s’est trompée de numéro de chambre pour les dîners et je ne m’en suis pas aperçue au moment du paiement (en espèces devant témoins) et elle me réclame à nouveau ce règlement. Il y a peut-être une différence mais pas 264,40€ de surplus… merci de bien vouloir mettre les choses au clair
