“Reasonable Room in Durango”

Breakfast and service are excellent. Motel is very old; third level rooms feel somewhat cave-like, but the Posturepedic bed more than makes up for it.

“Pool out of order for our June visit”

We were frustrated to get there and find the pool was empty and being repaired. There was a sign on the pool gate that said they offered free passes to a nearby recreation center, but it was not mentioned at check-in.

“OK for the money”

Away from Downtown, but free trolley runs right in front of hotel. Excellent beds. There is a nice excercise area, sauna, and whirlpool available (we didnt use.) Quality brewpub next door. Breakfast average. No elevator. Desk chair looked like it needed a good shampooing - we sat on a towel.

“Adequate for Family Travel”

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast. Kids loved the pool. Facility is outdated, rooms were hot & stuffy during the night, had trouble cooling the room. A/C units were old and loud. Adequate for a traveling family.

“Old facility, needs updating and repairs”

The beds were comfortable. They had a decent breakfast though. The bath shower tile needed work, the shower water temperature was inconsistent, it would go scalding hot and then cold like it was running out of warm water. The room temperature control on the wall did not work and when we were leaving, noticed an air conditioner installed in the back of the room which maybe it might have worked. However, it was up to high for me to reach. It was definitely an old facility. We paid a low price for the room but it felt a bit overpriced considering the room condition.

“Not very impressed”

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice for a motel, but carpet needed updating. Tub drain was slow to empty. Thermostat was broken. I mentioned both these problems to the front desk on departure. Location was very convenient. It was an average motel and seemed expensive for its type, but I acknowledge I was there during high tourist season.
