“Ok, and affordable”

Pretty good location, quiet, and the staff was nice. Not extravagant, but fine for those who want a good sleep and easy access to the area.

“Cheap”

Cheapest hotel in town that was not a dump. Just your average room no thrills. Old but clean.

“très déçu”

Plinthes chauffantes qui fonctionnent avec 30 degrés dehors et climatisation bruyante comme un avion au décollage. Salle de bain et WC exigus. Propreté limite. L'ensemble très moche. Le personnel très gentil.

“Satisfactory”

This is a older somewhat tired motel on the main road into town. The room was clean but spartan. It was fine for our purposes as we just wanted a place to sleep and we slept comfortably on the bed. It probably would not be satisfactory for someone looking for more creature comforts. Breakfast was in the middle of the range of what we experienced on lyr trip - cereal, waffles, some fruit as I recall, sweet rolls/toast/etc, juice and coffee. The dining space is limited so it got a little crowded.

“First visit to Durango”

Hotel was kind of average. No computers for internet access. The second morning they ran out of bagels at 7.15 am !!! When asked, the attendant answered that they forgot to order them ?? Would certainly not stay at this place again.

“Inexpensive and very basic”

Provided a cheap and very basic place to sleep and shower. Bathrooms need HVAC vent to provide warm air in winter. Continental breakfast was very poor, offering only cold cereal, tiny muffins, and canned peaches!

“Thin Walls”

The room was the perfect size and I was pleased with the comfort of the bed. I expected to have a very pleasant stay, given those facts, but then as I lay down for my first night's sleep, I could hear the television of the room behind me all night long. Now, its certainly not the fault of the staff or my neighbors that the walls in the hotel have the same depth and consistency of a saltine cracker, but the staff should be told by the owners that the rooms have very thin walls and a mouse fart will wake the complex. With that information, the staff can suggest to the patrons that they turn off, or lower the volume of the television after 10pm, or so. Should you decide to stay in the gorgeous city of Durango, CO and find the low rates of this hotel too good to pass up, look out for cyclists along the river path and bring industrial strength earplugs.

“Mediocre but effective”

As a hotel to stay for an extended stay, I probably would not take my family back. But for a one night stay right before an early morning flight it was effective.

“Not Impressed”

For the price, this hotel is a joke. Because we asked for a special room, non-smoking and handicapped, we got what I would think is a nicer room than the others. It was two rooms down from the office. The employees ALL smoke, totally gross, so they are not (and I mean never) at the front desk, they are outside smoking one after another, after another.... The rooms carpet was stained, YUCK. They did come and clean our room daily, though. Don't even think about breakfast - it is a joke, nothing there but nasty coffee and a waffle maker - so go to the Village Inn or Denny's down the highway.

“Maid Service”

The Motel in itself is nice,The front desk staff was very helpful. WE just had lousy maid service. No coffeecups were ever replaced, nor was any coffee replaced. She could not even dump the old grounds out or clean out the carafe.
