“A great deal for the money”

The hotel is just on the far end of the heart of down town. It is about a 7 minute walk to the shopping district. 3 minutes from the botanical gardens and a 5 minute walk to the university (Otago) and the Dunedin museum. A convenience store and gas station are across the street from the hotel as are several little local eateries. The neighborhood was safe and fairly quite despite being so close to the college. The towns people are friendly and helpful. There is not much to do in the way of nightlife, and the stores close early (5-6pm). Many restaurants stop serving by 8pm. The small kitchen efficiency was perfect for making a quick breakfast and a local grocery store is about 10 minutes walk up the street.. Parking is somewhat limited on the hotel grounds.
