"Very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. Staff were very good, even at the late time we came in at. Hotel is situated a little ways off the main road in very picturesque and ideal spot. Rooms were clean and the front area of the hotel was an amazing area to just sit in for a bit. Old woodwork with comfortable yet antique style furniture. "

"Derek & Rena are excellent hosts with a lovely clean and comfortable b& b, with off street parking. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful and they catered to one of our party’s dietary needs perfectly & generously . "
"Im giving 5 stars for each component to the review. The hotel is welcoming, nicely decorated and staff wonderful and hard working.
Our room was immaculate and very nice, a little older looking and wee bit dark, other than that, no complaints. New comfortable beds, fresh bed white linen, extra blankets in the wardrobe for thoe cold nights. Theres a radiator we had to switch on but once on the room was so cozy.
Theres flat screen tv with LOADS of channels, mirror, desk and chair, your refreshments tea/coffee/hot chocolate, condiments and a few pre packed bickies! Iron and board, also hairdryer.
The ensuite was bright, tiled and very clean with a shower cubicle. A good size sink and toilet, narrow glass shelf with complimentary shower gel etc. My only gripe was I had nowhere to place my clothes etc, theres no shelf, hooks or anywhere for this.
The price of the room included a wholesome breakfast and pre ordered porridge made with milk! The breakfast was buffet style and absolutely adequate for everyone with cereals, yoghurt, full scottish, toast and jams etc.
I will return here. "
