“Great Hotel, Great Price!”

For the price, it's a GREAT hotel. The location can't be beat- right in Canal Park. The room was HUGE and very neat. The hotel has some old charm to it that I like. The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was great- lots of variety and REAL breakfast food.

“Happy Stay”

I stayed at the Waterfront Suites for only one night,but I thouroughly enjoyed my stay. The sauna and the deluxe breakfast were my favorite part of my stay. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

“Great Mini Vacation”

I took my kids to Duluth for a short, mid-week spring break getaway. The Suites at Waterfront Plaza had everything we were looking for: Canal Park location, great pool area and a decent breakfast. I loved the converted warehouse architectural features: high ceilings, original columns, etc. We booked one of the smaller rooms, yet I was surprised to find out it was equipped with a full kitchen. The only (minor) complaint I have is that our 1st floor room was a bit noisy (doors opening and closing). Otherwise, it was a great stay, and we would definitely come back.

“Fab hotel in Canal Park - Duluth”

I have walked past this hotel/condo many times and never ventured in. What a mistake! The rooms are just like an apartment - its like you never left home!! except someone else makes your bed and brings you clean towels when you WANT them! (i try to be green) :) its situated in the heart of everything on Canal Park. The lift bridge is right down the street, the harbor is right out the back door. There are fab places to eat in the building and Hellburger (Duluth's Hells Kitchen) is right across the street. Free parking is plentiful and close. they made my holiday all that much better. definately worth the money!!

“Great place to stay!”

Seems to be a historical building that has been tastefully renovated. Extra large rooms, great for families. The included continental breakfast was very good with a great deal of variety. Walking distance to The Deck and right in the thick of several restaraunts and the lake walk.

“Loved our stay”

Been to area many times but first time visitor to this hotel. Secured room on a very short notice for a quick get away. The room was large and very comfortable. Used the pool, hot tub and workout facilities. Enjoyed a delicious free breakfast in the morning. All the staff extremely friendly and courteous. Would stay here again.

“Great location, huge rooms, decent deal”

We've stayed at this hotel twice now. Both times got the deal through expedia. And going to Duluth during the peak of fall colors - it is hard to get a decent deal. But I would highly recommend this hotel. It may not be the "nicest" but the rooms are huge! we did stay in an inside room so we had no windows so its a bit dark - but we don't spend a ton of time in the room anyways. And we think the space is well worth it. Plus you have a full fridge! We got to bring home leftovers every night. And it is walking distance to the lake/canal park etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel.....oh! they have a great free breakfast too!! eggs/hashbrowns/bagels/juice/waffels etc. Only way I wouldn't recommend it is if you are going to be upset if you aren't on the lake or have a lake view.

“Clean and Friendly”

We really liked the kitchen but would pay extra for a window suite. Friendly staff and really close to a park, movie theatre and restaurants.
