“Excellent hotel”

This is a very good hotel in a pleasant location. The service was outstanding; all the staff were polite and friendly. Our standard room was modern, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The balcony was small and not at all private. Breakfast was good, catering for a wide variety of visitors. The hotel pool was lovely but the sunbathing area was somewhat cramped. The pool attendant was excellent sorting out beds and brollies. The sunbeds are quite uncomfortable as they have no cushions.

Hotel Lapad was beautiful. Based in an old building but with modern interior completed to a high standard. Lots of local art on the wall really added to the look. It was based right by the harbour and on the No.6 bus stop so really easy to get into Dubrovnik town. The reception were incredibly helpful- you can order taxis/ buy bus tickets through them. If you wish to book tours- they have a tour desk operational in evenings/ early mornings. Rooms were small-ish but perfect for a couple. The look of the room made up for it. Lovely views of the harbour. Breakfast was full of choice- full english, continental, freshly made pancakes etc. We did not use swimming pool due to poor weather and it was outside/ not heated. Remember to save some Kunas for the city room tax!

“Very impresed”

The hotel was in an excellent location, the room was very clean and modern with a nice balcony overlooking a small garden. The bathroom was fantastic along with a very comfortable bed. The staff were very polite and spoke excellent English, they were at hand at all times to handle any questions. The pool area and sun terrace were a pleasure with enough sunbeds available for all guests. The service and food were excellent, the breakfast and dinners were superb and served buffet style with many choices available. It was the best breakfast I have had other than on a cruise. I totally recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Dubrovnik!

“Would definitely revisit.”

Staff were friendly and helpful, we were made to feel welcome. Bedrooms and communal areas were spacious, stylish and spotless.The variety of food provided at breakfast was outstanding in our experience. We also particularly enjoyed the view out across the harbour from the swimming pool area. In the evenings this became the venue for varied entertainment, including the opportunity to watch football on a large screen.

“Contemporary and classy!”

The hotel was really lovely, quiet extremely clean and very tastefully decorated. The room was very contemporary and facilitated all our needs. Breakfast is fabulous and caters for all tastes. The beautiful walk to Copacabana beach is worthwhile and by far the best beach near the hotel. Food at the hotel bar is great as well as the cocktails! If you like fish the nearby Orson Restaurant is excellent. When you go to the Old Town get a boat to Cavtat where you can grab lunch and sun bathe. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples and friends possibly not families. Definately get a taxi from the airport to the Hotel it will cost 250 kuna, when you see the buses you'll know why!

“Delightful Hotel”

Loved the location of the hotel & will go back. We had booked a superior room and were not disappointed. Although we did not have a balcony we did have a good sized room with a view. The hotel staff were friendly and did try to help with any queries.

“Hotel très agréable”

L'hotel Lapad nous a beaucoup plu, nous l'avons choisi pour notre dernier jour et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Les chambres sont design, suffisamment spatieuses, et propres. Les espaces communs (bar, piscine) sont très agréables également, et le petit déjeuner très copieux. Cet hotel est assez excentré de la vieille ville, mais tous les hotels le sont, et il y a un bus direct, donc cela ne pose pas de problème.

“Very impressed- but hire a scooter early!”

A fantastic hotel located about half an hours walk from the old town. Friendly staff, good food and nothing was too much bother. The bedrooms actually look like they appear in the pictures which makes a change too! Little too far from the old town for you? Get a scooter for the day and explor the place properly- its the only way to get about and we wish we had done it on the first day!

Just got back from a wonderful stay at Hotel Lapad. We booked a superior room and it was lovely - modern, tasteful decor, big comfortable bed, air conditioning, 2 sinks and 2 showers. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice and really set you up for the day. Was quite quiet when we went, but there was nightly entertainment. Would definitely recommend it for couples or anyone looking for a quiet break. Location was good - 6 mins by bus to Dubrovnik centre and a 10 min walk in the other direction to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay.
