“Charm, comfort convenience and imcomparable staff”

Charming guest house in historic buildings, combined with fabulous staff adds up to an incomparable experience. Though we arrived very early and there were no rooms available, we were invited to have breakfast and then were able to store our luggage and stroll the area of St Stephens Green and amazing surrounding areas. Our room was in the new addition and did not lack for comfort and convenience. The traditional Irish breakfast was very good and there were also plenty of healthy options, as well! Cleanliness is always at the top of my list and there were no complaints. We would highly recommend this accomodation for a visit to Dublin, the location cannot be beat! We will return.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Heidi. I can't wait to go back to Ireland and when I'm in Dublin again I hope there is a room available here. We really loved it and would recommend Stauntons to everyone.

The hotel was wonderful, the staff was very helpful and you couldn't ask for a better location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff helped us book our tours and provided breakfast earlier for us on several days as our tours started very early in the morning. We loved it!

“Simply THE BEST”

Having stayed in hotels of every class in more than 40 countries, I can honestly say this is simply "the best!" Three adjoining 18th century Georgian terrace houses have been sympathetically converted to form the front section of the hotel (retaining many period details), with a modern light-filled extension added to the back. I've stayed in rooms in both sections; while very different, both were sizable and comfortable. Hotel staff members do everything to make your stay pleasant. Excellent choices, from "healthy" to full-Irish are available for breakfast. Directly across the street is the beautiful St. Stephen's Green. A five minute walk across this park and you are in the centre of Dublin's shopping and museum district. On my first visit the receptionist welcomed me with "It'll be grand," and it was!

“Lovely hotel”

Loved this hotel. Stayed in room number 7 - Our room was so comfy and pretty. The room was in the back of the hotel and it was nice and quiet. Staff members were very helpful and pleasant. Included breakfast was okay but it was filling. We would highly recommend this hotel, and we would certainly stay here again next time in Dublin.

“Exceeded the description!”

A lovely hotel in a lovely setting that exceeded my expectations. Although the room was small--all the amenities were of excellent quality. Breakfast was the best I had in Ireland, and the reception personnel were most helpful. The public rooms were charmingly furnished. Ask for a room on lower floors--mine was four flights up; however, some nice person carried my luggage to the room.

“Dublin's Best Kept Secret”

This is a small, quiet hotel in a fabulous location, right across St. Stephen's Green. You can walk to all the attractions from here, including Grafton street, Trinity College, the Guiness Factory, etc. The service provided was exceptional at the Front Desk and in the breakfast area. You can't beat the price of the room, and on top of the already low rate, you get a full Irish breakfast included. The room was plain, but spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this hotel and will return.
