Good morning Than you for taking the time to review Suzanne. I am sorry you were disappointed about breakfast. I would like to gently point out that all rooms are advertised as room only and you booked room only.. For the convenience of our guests we supply complimentary breakfast supplies in our small guest kitchenette with an oven and microwave which can be used at any time, where the guest can help themselves to fruit cheese yoghurt bread tea coffee etc.We are situated in a fab area in Dublin surrounded with lovely coffee shops within 5 mins walk. Our prices are so competitive when compared with local hotels.We were happy to store your luggage all day for you and I hope you did not have too uncomfortable a night sleeping at the airport andthat you got home safely. Hi Sam I am sorry you were not happy. If you had come to us we would have helped you with the parking . The ally is as you say at the back of the house so you just needed to walk around the house to find it. There is free non ticketed parking there as we explained. I apologise for the water. Again we could have rectified that situation if you had come to us. I have to disagree however with your comment on the pressure. Always excellent pressure as we have power pumped showers. Those walls are actually quite thick in the old part of the house but maybe because of the bathrooms the sound insulation is not as good. Thank you for your review David. I completely apologise as Anna did for the cold water. We had a major and rare boiler malfunction the morning you stayed and I understand how inconvenient that was. However as regards the breakfast we do not serve breakfast and the food we left in the kitchen is completely complimentary. There were lots of coffee shops within a 5 min walk where you could have got your full breakfast . We have operated on a room only basis for a long time now and it discusses this in many of the reviews. It was a pleasure meeting you both and good luck with your family searches. Kind regards Marie

Good morning Vanessa. Thank you for your review and you call to Expedia.I understand that this is a very stressful time for you moving countries and I sympathise with your situation. I would like to clarify some details however for the readers. You arrived at my home at 930 am . I welcomed you in although check in was not till 4 pm. You had the contents of an apartment with you and I helped you carry them all in. I offered you coffee and a sitting room with a fire to relax in. I could see immediately you were stressed as you did not want to fill in a registration form. You went away and returned later in the day when I again assisted you carrying innumerable bags to your DOUBLE ensuite room overlooking the garden.. The room and bathroom both had working radiators so dampness is certainly not an issue and recently installed double glazing, and it is one of the cosiest recently decorated rooms in the house. The following morning I saw you posted on line your discontent without ever coming to see me. As you were not happy with your room I offered you a transfer to a slightly bigger room which seemed to satisfy you as you had such an amount of luggage. You were again stressed and not very polite. I offered you a refund if you wished to depart as I only want people who are content to be here. You declined. I spoke to Expedia who fully accepted the events. I am sorry for your situation and I hope things work out well for you back in Italy and that the sunshine makes you feel better. Kind regards Marie

It is actually a normal 6 foot single bed but you are a big man and a double bed would obviously be better for you. The bed was low but no smaller than normal and you booked a single room.
