“perfect location”
Easy walking access to Grafton St.,Temple Bar and most tourist attractions. Quite central, no traffic noises, very comfortable hotel.
“Beautiful hotel”
Lovely hotel. Great location. The room was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer!
“hotel very good”
Very comfortable clean hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Unfortunately a charity ball was held on the Tues night- loud bass music & drunken teenagers rampaged throughout the hotel. Noise did stop until 3am. We did phone reception but nothing was done- very disappointing. Otherwise very happy!
“Very Nice!”
This hotel was great! We stayed here for a week, and thought it was the perfect location. Walking distance to almost anywhere, but not right in the center of the tourist areas.Would definately stay here again. Tip: request a room towards the back of the hotel, as the rooms near the front are a lot smaller, but are the same price.
“Clean, comfortable and well priced.”
A pleasant stay in a very nice hotel with only a few drawbacks. On checkin the staff were great and the general ambiance very nice. The hotel room was very clean and had everything I needed. Even the shower was good. Just a few negative points. The door seemed to have been 'jemmied' open at some stage and the door frame was still damaged. It seemed to be just my door though. There was noise that came through the ceiling from the plant above me (I was on the top floor). I only heard it at night. This could be bad for some. I found the hotel a little soulless. I'm not sure why, it could be that the only hotel staff I ever saw were at the desk. I'm not sure. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, choosing rather to go out. Cafe Boulevard in Lower Baggot Street was really good. All in all it was a very pleasant hotel, well located but a little soulless.
“great location”
always made welcome
“Very Nice Hotel”
This was a fine place to stay, a bit off the beaten track but walkable to most attractions, and accessible to public transportation for the rest. Room service seemed to have an odd quirk against removing half empty glasses of water, but if that's the biggest problem I guess it's no big deal.
“Great!”
We were very happy with our hotel room. Our room was surprisingly large. This was definitely within walking distance of everything. We went to the Dublin Tourist place and booked a day trip to Galway which we had to leave for the train station at 6 am the next day. When we called for a wake up call, the front desk asked us if we needed a taxi, which we did. When we came down the next morning our taxi was waiting for us to take us to the train station. Our only little complaint was that our room would get hot at night, the comforter on the bed was very warm. Other than that we have nothing but great things to say.
“Dublin Rocks”
Great and friendly staff. Excellent Irish breakfast and Christmas dinner. Will return in the future.
“Best value and location in Dublin”
We booked this hotel on the advice of our travelling companions who had stayed there before and had been very pleased with the hotel then. The location was perfect - near Trinity College, a short walk to the best locations in Dublin and close to both the Dart transit station for a trip to the coast as well as the central bus station for a trip to my husband's grandfather's birthplace. The staff was extremely accommodating, the room was very clean and the maid service excellent. We hope to return within the next couple of years and will definitely stay there again. It was a great value for the money and the best part was the pub directly across the street (easy to walk home from in the wee hours!).
