“Friendly, Comfortable and Excellent Value”
I had a very pleasant experience in Fitzwilliam, the staff were the best I've come across in a long time, nothing was too much trouble for them, they even helped me make plans for my onward journey. The rooms was good, comfortable bed and bedding and the wi-fi was fast and free which is a great bonus. Their location is really nice, a lovely part of Dublin, I was traveling alone and felt at ease in this area. The rooms was good value and i would recommend the Fitzwilliam.

Happy with my choice of accommodation, very comfortable bed and nice big flat screen TV, staff very helpful with directions and tourist info etc. Overall very pleased and happy to recommend if you are in Dublin and need a central location.

The hotel is situated in a very good area with easy access to the city's cultural and shopping areas. It is very well managed, clean, and relaxing place. The staff are v. obliging. Also, free internet access and very good local knowledge of the area.

“Great place if your looking for a bed for the night”
Pleasantly surprised by the rooms and cleanliness. If it is only a decent room with Wifi, in dublin 2, then this is a good cost effective option.
“Best avoided. Not a 3 Star!”
This is a clean but tired and worn guesthouse a few blocks east of St. Stephen's Green. There is no elevator, room ventilation is a window facing a busy street and a pub, the inside floors creak, the rooms are tiny, walls are cracked and the bed headboard was falling off the wall. Pluses are decent location, low rates and free wi-fi. Cons are tiny room size, inadequate fixtures and NOISE. Staff was friendly but I left after one night (but pre-paid for three) to go to a better place. May be ok for traveling students on a tight budget but not for couples, business travelers or families. Avoid. Definitely not a three-star facility.
