Friendly and excellent value
Very good price for Dublin. Decent area and about 20 minutes from the centre. Nice breakfast as well as friendly host. Excellent option if you're on a budget.

nice quiet stay
I stayed here for 1 night recently and it was very good value and close to where I needed to go. The room was comfortable and the shower was good with plenty of hot water. I got breakfast and it can be served at a time of your choice between I think half 7and 10 which was great and it was very good. It is right beside a church and is very quiet. Hair dryer is supplied and if you want tea you can go out to the kitchen to make it. The only negative for me were the curtains which are very light and the room I was in wasn't dark enough to give a good nights sleep. Black out blinds are needed due to the light that seems to shine in from next door. This is a bug bear of mine and so may not bother other people. I would def stay here again

Fine Grand Bed and Breakfast
This is an outstanding B&B. Conveniently located, access to quick public transportation, quiet, and a very helpful proprietor. The room was comfortable, clean, had its own bathroom, and felt very cozy and private. I will be booking here and recommending others to stay here.

I had a really great time at this BnB! It's a very reasonable price, the owners are friendly, it comes with a fantastic, personalized breakfast, served at the time of your choosing, you have a key to the front door so you can come and go as you wish, and the room is also very comfortable and quiet, with fresh towels delivered daily. The location is also terrific if you're relying on public transportation (there's a bus stop right in front of the house, the bus comes frequently, and you only need one bus to get into the centre of town). Highly recommend!

Room was basic. Dust all around the skirting boards. Toilet handle came off in my hand. Dust webs hanging from the ceiling at breakfast. Cat on table next to me while eating breakfast. But my ham and cheese toasties was nice. Oh and hair on and in my bed

I stayed one night in a room with 2 single beds. Paul was very welcoming when I arrived. The location is fairly close to the city centre with various takeaways etc close by. I was catching a ferry from Dublin Port early the following morning so the location was great (10 minutes journey) and Paul was happy to make breakfast a little bit earlier than normal for me

Cozy B&B in good location
I had a very nice stay at the Belgrove B&B! The bedroom and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. Paul was friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious! Guests are allowed to choose from various options (including a full Irish breakfast)! Public transport to city centre was very convenient (except to the airport). Transportation to and from the airport requires a taxi unless you are not in a hurry. The taxi to the airport will cost about 25 euros. The bus will cost 8.70 euros. The bus option takes longer because you have to take a bus into city centre, then the express bus from city centre to the airport. It would take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.

My host Paul was kindly able to accommodate my arrival time outside of his normal check in hours because I called in advance to make those arrangements.

Convenient in many ways
It ideal for anyone arriving in Dublin after a long flight. Minutes away from the airport. Quiet restful rooms to deal with jet lag. Ample parking and easy to find. Accommodating host (Paul) who makes a breakfast with many choices. Will use it again.

We had a good stay. The owner is very helpful and friendly and made us feel really welcome. The town centre is close by if you have transport/bus and the airport only 20 mins away. The guest house is very quiet, so a good night's sleep can be had. Some updating to the rooms would be good to make it an even better stay, especially the towels. However, the beds are comfy.

The owner of the B & B was extremely welcoming and friendly. He showed me all the places I could see while staying in Dublin. Very helpful. The B&B itself was also so adorable and homey.

The breakfast was great, it was not expensive & the location was very handy as the bus stops right outside the B & B. The only downside was the room was cold & the shower was very small but everything else was spot on.

A nice and quite B&B
A nice and quite B&B on the outer edge of the Dublin City. Frequent city buses has a stop right in front of the B&B. It is quite convenient to go to Dublin city centre (bus fare 2.80Euro). The host, Paul, is a friendly gentleman and willing to help (just ask).

Really pleasant and personable
I loved staying here because I felt like I was staying with friends or family. The owner is such a great guy! He would give me tips about where to go and what to do and was really fun to talk to. The place was clean and quiet and the bus stop that takes you to the city center is right in front of the house. I will most certainly stay there again when I visit Dublin. I would highly recommend it!

This was a nice little B&B outside of the city. The room was average size, but quite a bit of furniture crammed in. The bathroom was small. We were there very little, so it served its purpose. The owner seemed friendly, but we had very minimal communication. It was nice enough, but next time I would prefer to stay closer to the city. We only had one night there and I felt that too much time was wasted having to get to/from the B&B to/from the city itself. If you do stay, the bus is very inexpensive but takes only exact coins. We took a shuttle from the airport to the city center. It was then a short walk on O'Connell Street (couple blocks) to Abbey Street for the bus stop. The original driver we asked told us the wrong price for bus fare, but the driver who picked us up was kind enough to let us on even though we were a little short. We then had to ask other bus riders where to get off (St. Bridget's Church, Howth Road, Killester).

Room adequate but of the seven B&Bs we stayed at during our two week vacation it would be last. Plumbing and Heating worked. Room was clean. Double bed sagged it middle but was comfortable. No amenities such as soap for shower. Towels old and well used. Could not stay for breakfast since we had an early flight. We did not experience the high reviews that we relied on in booking.

Small but nice B&B in Dublin.
Bellgrove is about 20 minutes drive from the airport depending on traffic. Just across the street is a bus stop that proved to be very handy for getting into Dublin center inexpensively.

Very handy position to Dublin centre. Host was accommodating and helpful however the general state of the room and facilities was in need of an upgrade ie the towels were old and frayed, no tea/ coffee facilities in room, no soap/ shampoo in room.
