“Mall of the Emirates”
A very good hotel in an excellent location. Close to the mall of the Emirates which is good for shopping and food too. Close to the metro which makes for easy sightseeing. Hotel very clean and well serviced. Breakfast good and reasonably priced. Pool quite small but fine for a dip !!
“Great value for the money!wew”
We found this hotel to be in a great location. The staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was very good, once again the staff very obliging. When we first sat on the bed, we thought it felt hard, however we slept very very well. We thought the set up of the room was great, bathroom a little small, but not a problem for us. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel
“Well worth the money”
Stayed there for 3 nights was really nice hotel really good location right near the metro so can get that all over which is a very cheap way of getting around would defo go back again
“Surprisingly pleased as hotel and room more plesant than in photographs”
After many previous trips to Dubai I was very impressed with my first time in a 3* hotel. Modern reception with friendly, helpful staff with good humour and understanding - when I entered my room my suitcase was already there and my coat was being hung in the wardrobe! The room was spotlessly clean and bright. About 3mins walk to Mall of the Emirates another 3mins to metro station. Short taxi ride to beach area for good dinning options. The pool is small but very cute and private, but hotel provides shuttle to beach. No twin rooms so best suited to couples or singles. Good value for money, will happily stay here again.

“Overall great hotel”
We had a great time in Dubai. This Novetal is within walking distance to the Mall of the Emirates and to the Tube. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast that's included with the room can be taken in the room or in the restaurant in the lobby. I particularly like that feature. Ordering food from the restaurant is good and arrives in a timely manner. My only complaint (a small one) is of other room service which seemed non existent. On two occasions, I asked for ice and a bottle opener and they never came. I then asked the restaurant downstairs for both and they gave them to me, free of charge.
“Yesotel”
Very comfortable, clean, quiet, well appointed for the money, convenient, and central to most things Dubai. Except from the airport which cost about 100Ds ($30) on inbound via taxi and 10Ds ($3) outbound via the metro line (world class in every respect). D=AED=approx 3.5/USD The only slight downside is that there is not much to do in or around the hotel, except for the mall. But that is easily remedied by taxi or Metro (also in the mall!!!!). A relatively short taxi trip to the Marina (JRD) Jumeirah beach area is about 25Ds. Very reasonable. And of course Emirates mall and all it's suburban Anglo-Arab fusion glory is just across the street. But perhaps the greatest and cheapest entertainment value amongst the high-priced lifestyle choices is dodging traffic. But that's everywhere in the ME. Transporation caveat: Stay away from Terminal 2 or have a definite plan on how to get from terminal to terminal. I had to take a taxi from terminal 3 because the metro does not go direct to Terminal 2 (go figure). I cost 40Ds ($11) almost wiping out any savings from ditching the taxi full distance. Anyways, Terminal 2 is where most value airlines call home. Fly Dubai is one and it only cost 45KD ($150) round trip from Kuwait. World class alternative airline with great duty free shopping values on board. Worth all the hassles except remember to use Tmnl 1 or the Central Station Metro stop. Cheers and happy traveling!
“Great deal in Jumeirah, next to the mall.”
The hotel is right next door to the mall. The rooms are spacious, nicely designed and quite comfortable. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The lounge in the lobby is convenient for a quick bite or breakfast. The hotel is very energy efficient, the hallways have sensors and half the lights come on when you step into the hallway. Would definitely stay here again.
“Great Experience”
The staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean, breakfast was not included, but restuarant was reasonable priced. About a 3 min walk to the Mall of Emriates, where you can get almost any type of food you what. You can catch the metro (best way to get around). offer a free shuttle to the beach twice a day. Con: DO NOT use the plain car taxi's in front of the hotel. Use the beige metered ones, you can catch them anywhere.
