Property Amenities
Guests are offered use of the Shangri-La Hotel's health club, covering the fourth floor, which includes a gym, with Pilates and Yoga classes, outdoor pool, spa tubs, plunge pools, sauna and steam rooms. Massage and beauty treatments are also available as well as one outdoor tennis court. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to the beach and nearby shopping centres, and can also arrange airport transfers (surcharge) and limousine hire. There is a choice of bars, as well as a 24-hour room service facility, and multilingual staff can assist with tour advice.

Dining
Amwaj - Stylish restaurant serving fresh seafood. Open for dinner from 7 PM to midnight, Sunday to Friday.
Dunes Café - All day dining experience with live cooking stations and à la carte menus. Breakfast: 6 AM – 11 AM; lunch from 12 PM to 3 PM, dinner from 7 PM to midnight.
Hoi An - Serves fine Vietnamese dishes with French influence. Open for dinner from 7 PM to midnight.
Marrakech - Traditional Moroccan-style restaurant set in a walled courtyard garden featuring mosaics, tagines and fountains. Serves a contemporary North African cuisine. Open for dinner from 7 PM to midnight, Monday to Saturday.
Shang Palace - Shangri-La Hotel's sleek, contemporary signature restaurant serving the best of Cantonese cuisine. Open for lunch from 12:30 PM to 2.30 PM, and for dinner from 7 PM to 11 PM.

“in my Dubai top 10 hotel list”
Efficient, prompt and convenient location. If you have seen Dubai before, you'll appreciate the loaction and convenience more than most. If you are visiting for the first time, then this hotel is convenient for getting around town conveniently.
“Great Customer Service”
This is a five star hotel and it lived up to its billing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we never got the feeling that it was because they wanted a tip. In fact, tipping is not expected and appreciated when given. The rooms are very nice and are turned over at least twice a day. The hotels location is great and in the middle of a lot of activity. The hotel had shuttle service to the big malls, which was convenient and allowed us to take a taxi if we wanted to go somewhere else. The business center is small and to use their internet can get expensive as they charge per minute. The hotel provides vouchers and shuttle service to a private beach that is secluded and beautiful. There are taxis waiting next to the hotel so you never have to wait in the heat for one. Though the staff is very friendly their knowledge of local life other than tourist areas is limited as most are not from Dubai, so do some pre-planning if you want to know about local customs and life. Still, this is the best hotel experience we ever had and at a great price.

This hotel is everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel and more. The level of service is fantastic - no request is too much or too difficult. Loved it.

I hane been to Dubai with my friends, and we have booked our stay at Shangri-la Hotel Dubai. We have booked 3-rooms appartment. It has a huge living room with modern furniture but the TV was small to the living room and it wasn't LCD. the master room very big one, and the bathroom well orgnized and full of space. the hotel was 10 out of 10
“Great Location and Excellent Service”

“I wish I could live there!!”
I took the option of the executive upgrade which was a great addition. My days started with a faboulous breafast buffet that included hot and cold items plus eggs, pancakes etc. made to order was a great way to start my day and I was usually so full I skipped lunch. The evening happy hour was just as good and included hot appetizers, fruit, cheese, juices and open (mix it yourself) bar. Unlimited internet was a convienient perk and it seemed that the folks who were there for business liked the convenience of the private concierge. The room was actually too big for my liking but always promptly cleaned well. I assume every room has a copy of _Lost_Horizen_ which if you have not read it is a fantastic vacation read and of course tells the story of Shangri-La. I got a facial and massage at the in house spa and relaxed by the pool one evening. I can truely say that this hotel and its amenities were central to my having a WONDERFUL vacation.
“Feeling at Home”
Had to upgrade to an Exec Floor Suite for a surcharge. the room I initially booked smelled paint. The Suite was good. Requested the hotel to send me hotel car at the airport, the arrangement was great, arrived the hotel and evry body calls you by name starting from hotel doorman and get you to check in at your room without stopping at the reception desk. Good feeling of being at home.

“great Dubai hotel”
I know Dubai is a building site, but, for the time being at least, the Shangri-la does not suffer with this problem. I couldn't fault the service nor the room we had, which was on the 30th floor.I ordered ice one night to take a drink, and from that day on,Ice was in our room every evening, along with complimentary fresh fruit and water. The staff are superb ( especially the concierge) and are always very friendly and courteous. We didn't eat in the hotel ( breakfast especially is very expensive ) but what we saw looked good. Fantastic bars, especially 'Ikandy ' which opens every evening out by the pool. A great holiday,which was enhanced by the rooms and staff at the Shangri-la. Would recommend for adults only though.
