“December 2011 - 4 night stay”
The staff at this hotel set the standard that other hotels should follow. Every member of staff, from the cleaners to the management, were polite and helpful. There was nothing to complain about - everything was perfect. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good facilities and excellent food. It was actually sad to leave this hotel at the end of our stay.
“As expected”
Hotel was as expected for a 4 star. Staff were good and no isues. Hotel is located next to main intersection and a 5 min walk from the Mall. A good location to get out and explore in a taxi
“Excellent hotel in a dull location.”
Excellent hotel, great restaurant Mezz with shishah bar and Arabic food. Small gym. Main problem for me was the location. Not much to do around the hotel. There is one shuttle in the morning to a shopping mall, but it feels like the hotel is in the middle of a construction area and most of the nearby buildings are residential.

“False advertising on balconies”
The hotel promises balconies in the rooms, which is not true and you cannot even crack a window! Apparently only junior suites have balconies, but even those cannot be opened. The only reason I booked this hotel was because it said that it had balconies, and I hate staying in hotel rooms in which you can't get fresh air because of sealed windows. So next time I will definitely be booking a much cheaper hotel which offers just as much as the Ramada Chelsea, if not more! Another thing that bothered me was how unhelpful the staff was. The hotel offers shuttle buses, but the reception staff have no idea where the shuttle buses go, they only regurgitate the time and the name of the place that's on the sign, which isn't helpful when half of Dubai's destinations have 'Jumeirah' in the name. So we thought it best to use taxis, since that way we'd at least know where we'd be going. One more thing, that's especially relevant for women with long hair is that the hotel has terrible water pressure, and it will take you 10 minutes just to wash your hair.
