“fantastic!”
great hotel in a perfect location - I can't fault our holiday
“Comfort guaranteed!”
I was a little worried about the hotel as some guide books said the hotel was a bit dated. However we did not find this to be the case. The hotel accommodation, the services, the staff and the food were all first class. I really liked the welcome drink, dates and cold flannels offered at check-in. We opted not to upgrade to a sea-view room as we did not anticipate spending much time in the room during the day and this proved a good decision. The life guards at the pool and beach were very attentive as were the pool butlers. The pool and room towels were lovely and soft! I have never seen so many sunbeds! The hotel is well situated with the Marina and the Metro just a short stroll- or taxi ride away. There was a supermarket over the road that enabled us to fill up our own fridge with cold drinks instead of paying mini bar prices. I would recommend this hotel to others and will certainly be going back.
“We will definately go back”
This trip was my wife's present to me for my 40th birthday. What a great present. Thoroughly enjoyable throughout the entire stay. Staff at the hotel were always very helpful, the Restaurant Manager made sure we were looked after very well. A superb complex, swimming pools, georgous sandy beaches and water sports to take part in. The room was big enough to accomodate a family of 4 very easily. Taxi's were cheap. Great place for food was "The Walk" in the Marina area of JBR. Loads to choose from, good price range too.

“Fantastic trip”
The Hotel was everything that we expected it to be. The quality of service really is second to none... One tip i would give is if you receive free airport transfers, ring the hotel to remind them of your flight details the day before arrival. Ours were misplaced and we were left @ Dubai airport waiting for a taxi. Not a mega problem, it happens and they made up for the mistake with a lovely fruit basket which was on the bed when we arrived in the room... All of the restaurants on the resort are awesome, especially the Grill (i forget the name) where i had the best steak i have ever eaten. The Superior room was definitely worth the extra as the little privelidges are nice and special. I think if someone says that they would stay again then it doesn't get better than that. I certainly would...
“Good hotel/ resort..... can be even better with some attention to details”
Good hotel / beach resort overall. This is my 3rd stay, and I'd they there again. Clean, nice smelling environment. Good service. Great pool area. Opportunities for improvement: - Room service always forgets to bring the requested ice bucket.... have to always send them back for it. - The quality of the lentils soup is not consistent.... had it 3 times in my room and it was perfect... when I asked for it at the waves restaurant, it came in watery and with little flavor. - The A/C opening in the bathroom leaked water on my second day, they promptly sent in the maintenance team and fixed it, it leaked again on the 3rd day... and again they sent in the maintenance team and fixed it. - The window opening mechanism was almost broken.... did not asked for it to be fixed. - The weight scale is old, not digital, and I believe is not accurate.... should be replaced. - The paid movie system does not work.... I tried ordering movies several times... called the reception who confirmed that my room was not charged.
“My 1st and best trip”
Me and my wife went to the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina for our Honeymoon and stayed there for 6 nights. Well what can i say, this was my first trip to dubai and it was pure indulgence and luxury. We arrived at our hotel at around 12pm and got checked in early at 1pm. Usually checkin time is at 3pm. The hotel was fantastic and have excellent staff. Whenever we needed something we called the operator and they dealt with our enquiry promptly. We were on the 7th floor sea-view with fantastic views of the marina/beach/atlantis hotel and palm jumerai. Unfortuanately 3 days before we landed there was a sand storm hence the skyline was not that clear the 1st couple of days of our vist, however on the 3 day it cleared up and the view was fantastic. The complementary chocolates every night was a fine touch. The only downside was that the TV was an old box and we were expecting a flatscreen TV, they said the new TVs are available with the Royal room, while ours was a duluxe room. Shame really, as i thought 5 star hotels will come with a flatscreen TV regardless of room type. Another thing that was a bit annoying that there was no room clock to check the time, we always had to refer to our mobile phones. They gave us free 1/2 hour internet access everyday which we found out at near the end of our stay. Apart from that was a fantastic hotel.
“Simply Superb!”
Everything about this hotel was fantastic, from the lovely front-desk allowing us to check in at 7am, to the concierge who were always smiling and nothing was too much bother. A slight criticism would be the quality of the on-site restaurants, but given our visit was during Ramadan this is hardly a fair criticism.

“Will certainly go back”
On arrival to Meridian we were immediately upgraded to The Westin next door. It was absolutely wonderful. Everything about the hotel was top class. I certainly recommend it and would certainly go back to The Westin.
