“Melia Innside in Dresden Germany - an excellent hotel”

The Melia Innside in Dresden Germany was a very comfortable and well-run hotel. The front-desk staff was friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and very well designed down to the last detail. Since it was snowing during our stay I made use of the gym in the hotel - a welcome convenience. All of this in an outstanding location in the Old City. We plan to return to Dersden and have no doubt that we'll stay at the Melia.

“Perfect!”

Perfect! Wonderful service, our dog was allowed, and she even got a "Doggie package" upon arrival. Couldn't recommend it more. Location is directly on the Frauenkirche... you can't get in closer to the middle of the Altstadt. This is a very modern, new, SUPER clean hotel~

“Great Spot”

A very modern hotel just across the street from the Albertinum. Rooms are strikingly and pleasantly modern. Great showers! "Twist" cocktail lounge upstairs is nice.

“Excellent modern hotel in old town!”

A gorgeous modern hotel. Beautifully furnished rooms are airy, spacious, and sumptuously furnished with nice firm mattresses and high thread-count sheets without being at all stuffy. Ultra modern bath fittings and lighting. Free use of the wet and dry sauna was an unexpected bonus. And if you want to experience baroque, all you have to do is step outside; Frauenkirche is around the block!

“Clean and comfortable”

Clean, comfortable, modern, friendly and cheap. Also well located in the old part of town. Room was a little too warm and could have done with being able to turn the heating down more. It was December, I like a room cooler than the 19C minimum allowed.

“Gorgeous hotel”

Gorgeous hotel. The atrium is designed to afford a view of the golden cross on the Frauenkirche at each floor. Stunning design. Also very affordable. Can't recommend it highly enough.

“Christmas in Dresden”

Dresden is a great little town and is worth a side trip, especially if you are visiting Berlin or Prague. All of Germany is great to visit around Christmas time, and Dresden is certainly one of the most festive spots in Germany during Christmas. Regarding the hotel, although it was in a great location and is less than a year old, and our stay certainly wasn't horrible, there are probably better choices in the Old Town area. There is construction going on right next door, you are only able to leave the temperature in your room within a certain range, and the service could be probably be a little better. Lastly, since the hotel is so new, the rooms distinctly smell like new carpeting.
