This hotel would've gotten higher marks from me but for two things. 1) while the room itself was beautiful, comfortable, spacious and clean, the balcony was covered in spider webs and was just plain unpleasant to enjoy; and 2) the only morning I had an opportunity to sleep in, the hotel started construction work on the floor right above mine at 7:30 am. Under no circumstances should a hotel be putting guests right below construction. I was not advised when I checked in that there would be noise, and nowhere was it mentioned on the website. Rooms near construction should be removed from inventory, especially at a hotel in this price range!

"Awesome location, but the hotel isn't finished. "
The hotel is extremely cute, but work is still being done to the hotel. The fitness center wasn't open and the rooftop bar which was advertised wasn't finished. I woke up at 7:00 am to loud workers who were finishing the room next to ours. It was very invasive. Of all of the rooms they could have put us in, they shouldn't have chosen the one next to a room under construction. I complained to the management and they did give us complimentary breakfast and let us delay our checkout time.

"Great location, Nice Staff, Hotel Update Scheduled"
We had a "Deluxe" room with a view of the Capital-AWESOME!!! The room itself was spacious and tidy. Our toilet had a slow leak. I called down to have it fixed. It didn't get done, or was not fixable. We attended a wedding at the hotel. It was very nice!
Beds and linens were very nice and the view of the lake from our room was amazing. The only complaint is that the A/C is loud. I used earplugs, so in the end it wasn't much of a problem. The proximity to the Capitol and the Farmer's Market was a bonus as well. All within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again.
Not a bad place to stay - just had issues with the air conditioner spewing out stinky mildewy air on night one. They fixed it the next day - then it spewed out weird fumes that smelled like pesticide. Turns out they had some bug problems in some of the AC units - so they debugged it and the fumes blew into my room. Had to prop door and open window - which was ok (although hot) and the window mechanism was broken, so I cranked it open and could not get it shut.
The rooms were VERY cute and well equipped. Comfy bed, nice towels, nice (Aveda) amenities. Liked the coffee machine in the room. They forgot to replace the mugs and the bath mat on day 2 - so I had to call down and request. I liked being able to use a bike gratis - although I only discovered that by reading the room material - not because anyone at the front desk mentioned it. Be aware, that although you get a "free" 24 hour rental from the Hotel - the bike company requires that you check it in every 30 minutes at one of their stations. That compromised the "free" part.
Nice easy hotel located in a quiet neighborhood a short distance to the university and capitol building. Checked in late to the hotel, and though there was a problem with the first room, the front desk promptly resolved the matter by putting us in another room. Room was clean, quite and had a very restful night even though the hotel was fully booked and hosting a wedding party. Would stay here again.
