"Great location"
Spent one night there with my fiancée and two kids. This was our second visit to this hotel and we were as impressed as the first time. The continental breakfast is amazing! Boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, hot oatmeal, nuts, granola, toast, muffins, juice, coffee, flavoured tea, yogurt, etc! Fantastic staff, clean hotel, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, great parking and service. Will be back.

"Beautiful Hotel in downtown Halifax"
We had a good stay at this hotel. The room was nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the location because we wanted to walk to the harbour front, Citadel Hill and the public gardens.

"Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our last 2 nights in Nova Scotia. We couldn't have asked for more. Beautiful hotel, close to everything we wanted. My favourite was the Halifax gardens right outside the hotel doors. We were less than 10 minute walk to harbour front and minutes away from more restaurants to choose from. Courteous service, went out of their way to answer all questions and help us out.

"Decent hotel in great location"
I stayed in Radisson hotels in Sweden before. They are generally pertty basic with a "modern" feel. This one was no different. Location of the hotel is great except there are currently number of constructions near by and they start working very early (7 am). So if you like to sleep late during your stay I wouldn't recommend to this hotel (and couple of other ones close by) for the next few months. Everything else was good with respect to my expectations from a 4 star hotel.

"excellent location"
We arrived in Halifax in time to celebrate Canada Day - the hotel is right on the board-walk and is perfect for getting around to everything by foot. We had a bit of an issue with the sheets that did not seem to fit the bed the first night but after bringing to the attention of the front desk the next 3 nights were bliss. The Hotel Staff (all of them - day and night) were so nice to talk to - we had the misfortune of being in Halifax with Hurricane Arthur making his way toward Nova Scotia. we would check in with the staff often to ask about the weather and the conditions that we should expect during what they were referring to as a 'tropical storm'. They were very reassuring during this rather anxious time. The Concierge (Kristi - forgive me if that is not correct) was an absolute gift - after our flight was cancelled and the Marriott was full she contacted another hotel for us near the airport and booked us in there for the next night. She also reassured us that things would be fine - lots of wind (107 MPH) would not last long a day or so. She also got us some information about how to contact our airline and make other arrangements for our flight when we were unable to get a computer since so many people were in the same situation. The Staff at this Hotel are all 5 Star - ready to help you with any wish or answer any question and take the time to have a bit of a laugh with you as well. looking forward to our next visit to Halifax.

"overall great experience"
I was excited to fly solo and experience the east coast for the first time. I loved my first impression of the Halliburton. I had a nice suite on the main floor (ask in advance). I love the original ceiling work and character of the building. The historic charm is definitely more my style. The room was clean and well kept, comfy and lots of space. The downside of course was not being attached to the main area and stairs throughout. Day four of my trip, I came down with food poisoning of unknown origin. I was really sick, too sick to transfer to the westin as planned on my last day and the hotel staff were really accommodating in my requests and found me a room. They also let me stay an extra hour in my room while recovering. My flight was canceled the following day thanks to Arthur so they also were able to accommodate an extra night at the same original booked price. Overall? The staff and location of the hotel really made my visit that much easier and enjoyable.. The rooms on the lower level definitely are not up to par with the rest of the hotel but it was only for two nights so overall, a good experience. I didn't get to try out the restaurant but breakfast was good, rooms and bathrooms were well cleaned and maintained.
