The villa was spacious with the amenities of home. It was very clean, and had everything for a traveler's convenience. Two pools and a weekly cook-out for guest. The staff was friendly, and offered tickets to most theme parks.
I chose a few months ago to do a quick weekend to Lake Buena Vista so I went to Expedia and did the SECRET PRICE for a 4-STAR Hotel. I ended up at Buena Vista Suites, a sister company of the Caribe Hotel, located next door. Upon our arrival, the staff (Anna) was very nice and gave me Room 711, the last one on the top floor. I did not know at that time that I would hear the elevator going up and down all night. I did not sleep the first night. The next day, we ended up having long black hair in the bathtub. In our second night, after coming back from visiting, we noticed that all the soaps were removed and replaced by only one set of toiletries, no soap in the bathroom. I forgot to mention that we had 2 queen beds in the room ending being so close to the walls that we had to get the first person in the bed before entering the said bed, very comfortable by the way. The wall on the left side of the toilet was dirty and showed some repairs. The living room was well appointed but because of the proximity to the elevator, so noisy that we almost spent all our time in the bedroom and close the door leading to the other room. So, I did NOT enjoy the suite I was supposed to have and ended up in a regular room at an impressive price. One last thing. WHO IS STILL CHARGING 8,99 /24 HOURS OF INTERNET THESE DAYS??? The Buena Vista Suites does. Oh, and stay away from the Guest Information, they are still selling time share...
Hotel is good but washers were broken for five out of the six nights. I had to spend $70 on an outside laundry service and the breakfast area is too small to accommodate so many guests. Still convenient location. Close to many restaurants and parks.
Booked through Expedia, simple and easy. On our drive down (21 hrs straight through) I called and try to book an extra night as we were going to arrive a day early. Because I booked through Expedia, I was passed along after being told by two staff that they had space available the third person who I was handed to said NO I had to book two nights, funny I was asking to stay for 7 total. Think and felt that he did not care or that he was busy. After a hour or so and the kids bugging to keep driving I called back. Spoke to a very nice lady and she got everything looked after, she even explained the rate difference, honestly, rates do not bug me I just wanted service and my family happy.
In the end the room was great we stayed in 1601. Clean and very well laid out. Nice big master, two bathrooms, everything we needed. The pool and was great. Room service was an extra, we were not aware of this but that did not affect our stay, we just had to ask what we did with the garbage and for additional towels so that we did not have to do laundry every day.
Overall, the location, room size, proximity to Disney, restaurants and price made it a very nice stay. We would certainly go back.
Great amenities and helpful staff
Staff very helpful with resolving a rental car situation.
Hotel promoted action rental car and they gave me the wrong size car and the wrong toddler seat twice resulting in a loss of 2 days of use and they only refunded once.
Be prepared to drive down street to walmart for incidentals as the onsite store is very expensive

"A good place to stay for a Disney World Vacation"
We enjoyed the hotel very much! Close to Disney theme parks, and much more reasonably priced than the Disney Resorts. Room was very clean, and more like a small apartment than a hotel. I really liked the full size kitchen, and my son really enjoyed the pool area! Staff was really friendly as well. Overall, enjoyed my experience at this hotel, and would definitely stay there again, and recommend to family and friends!

Downtown Disney® area/Lake Buena Vista Hotels Guide
Downtown Disney ® area is Disney for the adult set. Here, restaurant options range from fast-food fare to white-linen service. Entertainment choices include dancing, live music, and a multiplex cinema. Shops offer children's toys, as well as Harley-Davidson gear and hand-rolled cigars. Downtown Disney ® area's other appeal is its proximity to both non-Disney and Disney-owned golf courses.
