“Best in Rockaway area”

Terrific bargain! Free breakfast and dinner. Doorside laundry service. Grocery shopping.

“Very nice hotel...But you better be quiet as a mouse”

Almost everything about this hotel was excellent. Breakfast was good, and the rooms are huge. The only problem is that I believe they did a poor job of "sound proofing" anything in this building. Quiet time starts at 8 pm, and with a family of 4 on vacation we rarely made it back to the hotel before then. The people below us called the front desk twice about us making too much noise. The first time when we opened the sofa bed, and the second time when a kid dropped a bottle of shampoo in the shower (these happened before 10 pm). On our last night the room above us were very loud at 2 am waking both my wife and me up. The front desk did not answer our phone call at that time.

“Nice room, but...”

We got the two bedroom suite. The room(s) were nice and the kids had a nice time. A minor problem occurred upon check in. One of the bathrooms had some dried material on the wall. It was kind of gross. Upon letting the front desk know, someone was sent up to clean the bathroom. He did an ok job and the rest of the stay was fine. We didn't ask for any sort of refund, but I figure they would have offered something if we pushed the issue.
