“Great for a short stay”

The room looks like it was newly refurbished. It looks nice on the surface, but the bed was a small double and the hairdryer wasn't even worth using. So it will do for one night but would be a problem for a long weekend. Not all rooms have baths either which was a shame, but i'm sure could be easily changed. The onsite swimming pool was great fun and the addition of a small sauna and steam room was an added bonus. Like most hotels hidden extras like 25p for an extra teabag and extra for breakfast could easily see the cost mounting up. However we were prepared for this so brought our own breakfast and teabags!!

“Good quality 3 *”

Excellent service from friendly helpful staff. Superb dinner food. Breakfast very acceptable. Comfortable rooms with adequate space. BUT very poor lighting in bedrooms - either take a table lamp or ask for one immediately you arrive as they only have bedside lights and a central light fitting with very poor energy saving bulbs, which I thought was a night light! Spa is pleasant with small, cool pool, jacuzzi which works intermittently and hot steam room but the massages and beauty treatments (I was told by fellow guests) was very good. Position is wonderful, within short walk of town center and shops or the beach and pier. This is a good 3* hotel which is uplifted by the quality staffing but needs refurbishment soon.
