“Bournemouth's jewell”
We stayed for a 3 night break. The Hotel is ideally situated for: The beach, The Town, Buses and great Restaurants. We parked the car and walked or caught the bus. All staff were immaculate, efficient, friendly and professional. The General Manager was in evidence and led from the front. The Hotel is well presented and very comfortable, the food of high standard and reasonably priced. All in all an excellent stay - we will go back and stay for longer next time.
“Very good stay”
First time I have stayed here for business, overall 100%. Very attentive staff and great food quality from a good selection on the menu. Bar staff very quick as was the food...again very nice staff. Breakfast was good quality and hot. Will stay there again without a doubt!
“Great location and good standard of accommodation!”
Fantastic location and really impressed with the room, very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. We were a little bit disappointed with the spa it needed doing up a bit and the pool was cold but it was still nice. Staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was good, lots of choice! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
“Pleasant stay”
Only stayed one night as visiting friends for the weekend, lovely experience, dog friendly as we took our Westie and she enjoyed the stay as well. Avoid room12 as right next to lift door and there was a wedding reception with some late night revelers returning to their rooms.
“Proper Service”
If you are after a calibre hotel with very good facilities and superb staff, service, food and drink in a lovely location near to the beach and shops at the Westcliff end of Bournemouth, look no further. Perfect in every way. And I don't say that lightly.
“Overnighter in Bournemouth”
First things first - just a one night stay at this hotel - was pleasant enough. Bit of a maze to get to our room (in fact, some missing signs made it more interesting - on the top floor). The room seemed to either have no working heating control, or it was controlled from elsewhere outside the room - we didn't bother the hotel staff at the time, as by the time we noticed it wasn't working with the thermostatic valve on the radiator, we were too tired to want to get it sorted for the evening. We didn't use any of the facilities - e.g. the pool, bar, restaurant. They looked pleasant enough. All in all - not a bad hotel.
“Weekend break”
Had a great relaxing weekend and look forward to going back sometime next year
“CANNOT THINK OF A TITLE”
Two night stay, very comfortable bed, pleasant room, good breakfast. Good value for the money
“A Weekend away”
We had stayed at the Hotel last year at the same time, overall the Hotel and staff couldn't do enough for us, there were three couples. this year there were just the two couples and overall the staff were pleasant and helpfull, especially the receptionist when we checked in, she was very friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely Spa, with a very warm pool and upstairs next to the bar is a large indoor pool again heated. We booked for sunday lunch and were slightly disapointed with the overall service, although not overly busy for a Mothering sunday it took nearly 30 minutes to get cold starters, including a luke warm soup, the kitchen staff were confused with the order so we had to re-order, then another 20 mins to get the main meals, again could have been much hotter, overall nearly two hours from start to finish. In the words of the school report " Could do better". Also on the Saturday morning at breakfast we asked for a second cup of coffee and were told that there were 20 waiting in front of us, after some 15 to 20 minutes we gave up and left.
“Post Christmas Break”
The leisure facilities were a little disappointing- the 2 pools are too small and the main pool is away from the sauna/steam room etc meaning you cannot easily use both. Our first night was difficult because the room next door had the TV on loudly until 2 in the morning and we had to complain. Our head board backed onto the TV of the room next room, which is bound to cause problems and not the most sensible design. The breakfast was good but is buffet style after 8:30 and tended to be luke warm at best. You can order haddock or kippers as specials at not extra cost which was a nice alternative as a change. Free parking a bonus and yo can wlak to the town/front etc. We would stay again despite above comments.
