"Very good hotel, great facilities, lovely location"
Had a two night stay over Easter, and despite the weather had a wonderful stay. Some areas of the hotel could do with some TLC, but other aspects make up for that. The facilities are great for families, staff very helpful, food tasty (possibly a bit over priced), and overall definitely one of the best choices in the area that we could find. Without a doubt had the most to offer for families. Hotel dog was lovely, a lovely homely feel to the lounge areas, with the added bonus of attentive staff at the bar, plus movie nights and games galore, so something for everyone and a great way to spend time away as a family. Lots in the area to see and do (even in the English drizzle), and we could have spent another 2 or 3 days exploring.

"Bournemouth beach hotel way from the crowds"
A very comfortable hotel in a great location. Big outdoor heated pool is fantastic, plus smaller indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Changing rooms could do with refurbishing as they are rather tired-looking. Lovely gardens with plenty of walks. Staff all very friendly, helpful and plentiful. Food at breakfast and dinner very good with adequate, varied choice. Bar open all hours. West Wing has larger rooms and is newer on th decor, the old part could do with having bedrooms refurbished, and introducing different pricing for different sized rooms. We booked 3 double rooms, all wee the same price.,2 were large light and airy but the 3rd was disappointing. It was half the size of the others, dark, dingy although clean, likewise with the ensuite. This should only be marketed as a single room in my view, and at a much lower price.

"Nice hotel close to the beach "
Two of us stayed at the Cumberland hotel for 3 nights. It was a very enjoyable stay with welcoming and polite staff. The room was very clean when we arrived and the bed was massive! We had a nice view of the sea out of the side window. The food was very nice and the service was rather quick to get what you needed. We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning which was to a good standard and we also ate dinner there for one night which was amazing. The only negative was the small car park which was too small to park every guests car. Overall a great stay at The Cumberland and we would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in Bournemouth.

"WOW B & B"
We stayed at this B & B for a weekend break, Friday to Monday. Wonderful couple. Margaret and Ian. They were fantastic from the start to the end. The room was WOW. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a brilliant shower. The view from our room (at the back of the house), was breathtaking. Breakfast was huge and fabulous. This is the place to stay if you want tranquility. We will return.
