On arrival our friends and ourselves were upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room was nicely decorated buy not overly large. The ensuite was a shower room with plenty of room and everything was spotlessly clean. There was bottled water on the bedside table and tea/coffee facilities in the cupboard under the desk. The one downside in the room was if you were staying more than a couple of days there were not enough drawers to put your clothes in. The staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety on offer. The cooked food was delicious and piping hot and was served by the waiter from the buffet. We had our evening meal in Blakes restuarant, surfice to say if the Head Chef is not on don't bother. Would we stay at this hotel again? Definitely.

We only stayed for one night because we had visited the area to go to a concert. We found the rooms clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit chilly and we were supplied with additional heating straight away. The hotel was only about a fifteen minute walk to the BIC so quite central. We had an excellent breakfast and thought the overall cost of our stay was well worth the money. Would not hesitate in returning if we were ever back in the area.

The hotel is in a great position-5 mins and you're on the beach! The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and accommodating. The room we had (9) was big, nice bathroom and quiet. Bar area was comfy and food was good and good value. Would definitely stay again!

We were pleasantly surprised by the location and soon discovered that the hotel is very convenient to walk to the seafront and town - a nice 10 minute walk and you're there.
The room (which we booked for a family of four) was very comfortable. Only slight minus point was that the shower wasn't fantastic at keeping a constant temperature and not very powerful, so it needs an update. Otherwise everything else was to a very good standard. As soon as we mentioned that we were a little hot in the room, within minutes a large fan was delivered and really made the stay comfortable.
The swimming pool and leisure facilities were a real bonus, especially for the children. There is a lovely, relaxed bar area, adjacent to the dining room.

I was put in a ground floor room as requested, but was unable to use the shower because it was in the bath and I was unable to step over the bath with no support, so the hotel staff organised two rails which made the shower accessible and, for future residents, the b ath as well.
We had a long weekend here as a base to explore Dorset. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is limited, but there are other places to eat. The rooms were large and well appointed; how often do you get power points for hairdryers close to where you want to use them?
