“A Delight in Dorchtester!”

A warm welcome, lovely spacious room downstairs, nice big bathroom with yummy smelling toiletries. Breakfast was excellent in a great conservatory room. The cats were cute too!

“Excellent traditional English county town accomodation”

Set on the main stret in the county town of Dorset, Westwood House in Dorchester is located in a traditional townhouse building. Rooms to the rear on the top floor have lovely views over Dorchester's rooftops to surounding countryside. Immaculately clean rooms - friendly & efficient hosts. Excellent cooked breakfast. Note that parking is in a public area some 250 metres from hotel. Highly recommended inexpensive accomodation.

“The cat's whiskers”

Everything lived up to our high expectations based on previous positive reviews for Westwood House. Even the hospitality cat performed on cue. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. We were also impressed with Dorchester itself, as it's an attractive town with plenty to do and we found it a good base for visiting the surrounding area.
