“Very Pleasant Stay”

Staff was very accomidating. Nicely run motel. Definately will refer, friends and family. Must note staff was very pleasant and friendly.

“A Little This, A Little That”

This is not a bad hotel if you need a cheap night stay somewhere. I would suggest something else for long week vacation stays. The rooms were clean as could be with a tad bit comfort of home to the basics that you need.

Our stay was short and I wouldn't mind staying there again if they could fix TWO MAJOR problems. First, the card lock on the outside door never worked during our entire stay and the excuse was that it was too cold outside and the lock must have frozen. [You're in Illinois. You don't prepare for this?] This was only a big deal because entering the hotel room from the inside required us to walk down a hallway that smelled like cigarette smoke in combination with cat urine. If the hallway smelled decent, we wouldn't have minded the outside lock at all.

“Stay away and spend the extra $ at another hotel.”

This place had cobwebs on the wall and ceiling, stains on the linens which looked sparsly cleaned with detergent, bedsheets looked about the same. Room never got vacuumed, trash was never removed, had to ask for toilet paper and the supposed continental breakfast was something to be desired. They ran out of things about 30 minutes after it opened. I would avoid this place at all cost's! There are a few other places in town and a few more dollars to stay at, spend the extra money and be happier.

“TERRIBLE!”

This hotel is TERRIBLE! I spend 40-50 nights a year in hotels, and this one is the worst one of the year (and it's December 26). The bed was harder than a rock, the pillow about the size and thickness of a postage stamp! Bathroom filthy (feces on the wall?). On top of that, they gouged on the price because it was Christmas weekend. Super 8 should pull their name off this one!
