Cholon, sometimes referred to as Chinatown, is southeast of the city centre and features several ornate pagodas including Thien Han Pagoda, dedicated to the Chinese goddess of the sea. Cholon also houses Olympic-size Lam Son Swimming Pool, as well as many Chinese restaurants. Cholon Bus Station serves the Mekong Delta.
