“Highly recommended”

Lovely older style hotel, very well located only about 200 meters from the railway station. Nice dining room and very good continental breakfast. Helpful English speaking staff who have an excellent knowledge of things to do, places to see and good restaurants in Dijon. Lift access for us and our luggage to our room was very welcome. We rank Hotel le Jura very highly and would not stay anywhere else in Dijon.

“Excellent Value”

The hotel was very welcoming and accomidating. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is just a short walk from the train station, and it was easy to walk into the center of town to see the sites.

“Would recommend this hotel to others”

The Hotel Le Jura is a quick walk from the Dijon train station. The only problem is that the city is installing a transit line, so many streets are dug up, including the one in front of the hotel. Nevertheless, I would recommend the hotel, keeping in mind that we stayed on a Sunday and a holiday Monday when no work was taking place. The room was comfortable, with a large, modern bathroom. Beds were firm and comfortable. Wifi was free. The people at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. No air conditioning, but we had a great breeze from the courtyard.

“Très bien et central”

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel un peu par défaut, la réservation ayant été faite tardivement et étions inquiets suite aux derniers commentaires vus sur Expedia. En fait, l'hôtel est très bien, le petit déjeuner en self très bon et copieux et notre chambre,très grande, donnait sur un petit parc intérieur très calme. Toutefois, bien qu'ayant pris la réservation "standard", notre chambre (14)était notée (derrière la porte): "catégorie supérieure" et les chambres contiguês semblaient nettement plus petites, d'après le plan d'évacuation. Peut-être avons-nous eu de la chance? L'hôtel est près de la gare et à moins de 10mn, à pied, du centre historique.

“Great Hotel”

Huge room, by far the biggest we stayed in France. Great marble bathroom. Excellent location near the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

“definately recommend”

We stayed at Le Jura for 3 nights in June 2007. The location is very convenient,being close to the train station and within easy walking distance to the heart of the atmospheric old city and main attractions of Dijon. Our room was immaculately clean, apparently recently refurbished, larger than most hotel rooms in France, and overlooked a pretty courtyard. ( We had read a previous review mentioning noise from bars across the street from the hotel, but this is not a problem at all if you get a room at the back. ) Staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke English well. We would definately recommend this hotel.

“Completely Unexpected”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was wonderful and extremely willing to answer any and all questions we asked. They also made our children feel at home on their first trip abroad. Finally, the breakfast provided is exceptional - on par with the four and a half star hotel we stayed at in Switzerland later in our trip. We would stay here again - in a minute.

“Would use this hotel again!”

We had a great room...toward the back, away from the street. The train station is just a few min. walk away and it is easy to get around the city from the hotel. It was very clean!!

“Hotel très confortable et bien situé”

Nous avons été très bien accueilli lors de notre séjours touristique de deux nuits. Le petit déjeuner était de très bonne qualité, aussi bien dans le sucré que dans le salé. Enfin, l'hôtel est bien situé, très proche du centre historique.
