“Lovely Location - Great views”
Convenient location to Nice, the attractions of Antibes (Marineland, AquaPark etc) and not far away from the beautiful town of Cannes. Reasonable prices and delievers more than its three stars
“Great Hotel, Greal Location”
The Hotel de la Poste was a diamond in the rough as far as hotels in France. It is perfectly situated right outside of the Beaune center. It is a beautiful hotel with very good service. The hotel is also very comfortable, clean with modern amenities. This was a great choice and comes highly recommended.
“Lovely and Newly Reconditioned Rooms”
All good things. The hotel helped us with dinner reservations via email before we even checked in. Stored our rented bicycles in the garage. Stored our luggage overnite as we made a side trip, then had it waiting in our room when we returned. The hotel and rooms were spotless and well decorated. A short walk to the center of the city. Service was always cheerful and accomodating. As we left in a downpour, a staff member walked me to the car under an umbrella.
“Très satisfait dans l'ensemble”
Réservation la veille sur Expédia. L'hôtel est très agréable, situé près du centre ville. Nous n'avons pas pu manger au restaurant de l'hôtel car il n'y avait plus de place, mais ce n'est pas ce qui manque dans le centre.
“Nice, clean, friendly - with personality”
We worked this hotel the night before and were greeted with warmth and very good service. The staff were fun and accomodating. My only complaint is that the beds are so low and I'm tall - however, they were comfortable. The towel heater was a welcome feature. When we go back, we will book this hotel. Good value for a charming hotel.
“Beaune - Heart of the wine region ....”
The hotel is located on the edge of the town, ideal both for visiting the local vineyards and a wonder around the town. The hotel building itself is old but very clean and well maintained. The restaurant is good but so are the restaurants within walking distance. The staff are very helpful and speak perfect english - which helps when I can speak only a little. A good central base to visit the vineyards of Burgundy.
“Great location, helpful staff, good value”
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel de la Poste for our first trip to Beaune. The hotel is located about 50 meters away from one of the best restaurants in Beaune (the Loiseau Bernard, formerly Bernard Marillon) just inside the old city walls. All the main attractions are within a very easy walking distance. We even walked from the train station, which is on the other side of town. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant, speaking both in English and French. The room was very beautiful, outfitted with antique furniture but with modern appointments--including a very nice, roomy, and very clean bathroom. The only thing somewhat negative I can say about the place is that the mattress was a bit soft, but not any softer than most European hotel mattresses I've been on. The breakfast was good, although there are so many great places to eat in Beaune that you may want to find another breakfast place. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant for dinner, although we hear it is quite nice.
“Spectacular Beaune”
Had a wonderful stay at Hotel de la Poste. Perfect location just across from the town's wall. Much better than being inside because of ease of access driving is very difficult inside the wall. Within a couple of minutes of every beautiful site Beaune has to offer and easy to find. Just go around the wall and you will find it. There is payed parking or if you are lucky you can get a spot in front of the hotel and park for free. It is a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms and decorated with pictures from the past. Highly recommend the restaurant Le Petit Paradis across from the Musee des Vins. It is a tiny spot but we have one of the most memorable lunches of our trip (and we ate at 2- 3 star restaurants)
“Une adresse élégante et cosy”
Idéalement situé, on s'y sent très vite chez soi. Le personnel est disponible et souriant, les chambres ont de la personnalité, même si les lits gagneraient à être un peu plus longs... Un vrai bonheur.
“Excellent rapport qualité prix”
