“Even better than the web page suggests”

Roomy with a large separate bath and toilet. It's fresh and newly renovated. Breakfast was really fresh and the ability to boil your own eggs.

“wonderful area to explore for days”

Great location and the directions to get there were right on. Nice room and the hotel staff was very helpful. The breakfast was a highlight. Such a beautiful assortment of breads, and even eggs and bacon. The rooms and open spaces were very pretty. Hope they continue to keep the place up.

“Ideal for city centre eating out”

Nice and easy to find loads of free parking 50 yards from hotel if car park is full all city centre cafe's and bars 5 minutes walk very safe and secure area left 2 English registered cars fully loaded in open parking all night

“Not what we hoped for.”

We were disappointed. We booked from the Expedia website and were told that our booking was confirmed for the two star annexe. When we arrived it transpired that the annexe was in fact a bunch of rooms above a restaurant round the corner. The rooms were decidedly retro; we had to change rooms and pay more money because the 140cm bed just looked too small after getting up at 4.45 am to catch the Shuttle. The worst part was being woken up at 7.30 am by workmen with a jack-hammer installing a water meter in the wall just below our bedroom. We complained about this when we checked out and the hotel manager offered us free coffee and croissants, which was a nice gesture but not adequate compensation for the let-down.
