Bright airy feel to it with lovely large windows in the bedroom. Hot water for bath or shower. Nice to have both. Entrance lobby very tastefully presented. Dining area light and with space.

Nice fridnly hotel in Torquay. Near the Seafront
My fiancé and I stayed at the Iona for a short holiday break in Torquay. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us & it was very rainy just a few days after the heat wave. However being positive the Hotel was really fantastic. Roy made us feel really welcome and was very helpful during our stay. The room was very clean and had everything we needed for our short break. The location is perfect being only a very short walk down to Torquay & seafront / Marina area. Would thoroughly recommend for anybody looking to stay in Torquay. Also there’s a lovely friendly family pet dog called Chip who was also very welcoming!

Great stay
7 nights holiday with my wife. Room was relaxing and bed was comfortable. Shower and bathroom was to a good standard. Breakfast was plentiful and was well presented. We enjoyed our breakfast and was a great start to our day. Off road parking and strong WiFi was the icing on the cake

nice place, small but friendly fairly close to the beach 10 mins walk. has parking facilities (free) but you need a small car as it is on a steep hill with tight parking spaces.

The Iona is a lovely hotel the service was excellent as was breakfast. We stayed in room 6 which had a lovely balcony which we did use especially in the evenings. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The surrounding area is hilly so is probably not suitable for everyone.
