“GOOD VALUE”
This very reasonably priced hotel is situated just off the motorway and is very easy to find. It is laid out Motel style and the rooms whilst not large in size are very clean , comfortable and well appointed. There is a pleasant bar area which serves good food at reasonable prices. The morning breakfast service was excellent as was the food which was on offer. I would recommend this hotel since it offers very good value for money and does not compromise on the comfort of the rooms and the quality of the food it offers.

Standards of cleanliness excellent.Comfy bed. Dinner was excellent can reccomend the Salmon en crute Very friendly waiters.and staff.
“Good restaurant food”
Room was very small and compact but modern and very clean. Unfortunately we were next to the outer door of the building which needed some WD40 on it (squeaked a lot) but we were only staying two nights so didn't bother to ask to get moved. The hotel restaurant served an excellent evening meal and breakfast was the best we've ever had, hot plates,lovely bacon thanks!Ideal for an en route to somewhere else stop.
“Does what is says on the website”
Good hotel, does exactly what the website says. Rooms and facilities are fine and the staff are helpful. Really convenient access to the A38 and easy to find. Only downside is the beds are very firm - some may prefer this though!
“OK for overnight stopover.”
Easy to find when travelling south, from Exeter,but difficult when coming north. A reasonable stopover for a journey to or from South Devon or Cornwall. It was good to have a bath with our room, but the decor looked rather sad, and needed updating. The position is a short distance from Exeter, where there are lots of good places to eat, we stayed the one night, to break our journey, and spent a short time sight-seeing.
“Comfortable hotel for a 1 night break”
This hotel was used to break up a long trip down to Cornwall. It was easy to find using directions supplied by hotel. Room was average. A number of small items needed work in the room. A small hole in side of bath, door needed to be pulled very hard to shut. Also cups for tea and coffee needed cleaning before being used. Breakfast in hotel also average. Toast was only cooked on one side although there was a lot of it. Boiled eggs were hard boiled even though asked for sorft. Cooked English breakfast both filling and well cooked. On the whole this hotel was adequate for a stopover but if looking for a longer stay I would suggest looking for something else.
