“Location, location, location!”
Wonderful comfortable stay, will stay again if I get to Detroit. Very convenient location inside the Delta Terminal. Room was clean and comfortable.
“For those in need of quick airport access w style”
Truely an airport hotel, if you are flying domestic you can exit the lobby directly to security and the terminal. The rooms are surprisingly quiet considering the jetway is within view. Beds are comfy and the bathroom is well designed and appointed.
“Great Business Trip to Detroit”
We arrive at the airport on time and started looking for transportaion to the hotel. We were very pleased to find out they had a shuttle bus that came by the airport and hotel every fifteen minutes to get you there, at no additional charge. We arrived at the hotel and found it to be very clean and the employees to be very helpful. Our room was modern and very clean as well. We attended a training class that was held at the hotel and the accomodations were great. The snacks and meals were very good. The hotel resturaunt and bar areas were clean and the service was excellant. The food and beverages were priced similar to any other 4 or 5 star hotel, a little pricey, but expected. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning and event ro just staying in the Detroit area for business. The hotel was very conveniently located by the airport.
“Convenient traveling through Detroit”
Very convenient to break up a long trip. Next time I will allow more time between flights so I can be more leisurely in my stay
“Super convenient location!”
Used the park and fly. Very convenient if flying Delta. Literally steps away from your room to your departing gate. Awesome.
“Convenient & Close”
This hotel is worth the money! The service is good and it is near the airport and close to downtown.
“Nice stay!”
Very quiet and clean hotel. The gym could have had more machines but otherwise a great place! A little inconvenient if your flying other than NW Airlines. They have a shuttle that runs every 15 mins to the other terminals. Glad I was there in 70 degree weather!!
“The hotel has its own check-in terminal to go straight to gates ...”
And its very nice inside ...
“The best bed ever”
We had thought we could stay at the hotel and go directly to check-in for our flight without ever going outside, but it turns out you can do that only for Delta flights and some other airlines. American Airlines was at another terminal, so we had to take a shuttle. But the shuttle was quick. Unfortunately, the female shuttle driver did not help us with our luggage and did not stop door to door so it was difficult for me to handle my elderly mother and the luggage, alone. However, the hotel itself was awesome. Absolutely a beautiful hotel with kind and polite staff. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Definitely top-of-the-line. We stayed there twice, at both ends of the trip and I wished it wasn't just for a quick sleep. I would stay there again the next time I fly out of Detroit Airport.
“Excellent hotel marred by poor restaurant”
Our experience at the Westin Detroit Metro Airport Hotel was excellent. Room was large, staff was friendly and helpful. Certainly a great travel aid for those stopping over at Detroit Metro Airport as the hotel is attached to the airport. Service at the restaurant was slow but all other amenities excellent.
