“Good Windsor Visit”
Nice hotel right on Windsor waterfront. Walk to the casino. Very close to Windsor Transit station where you get the bus to Detroit. Reasonably priced, well kept hotel.
“Very good value, close to everything downtown.”
Convenient to everything downtown including Casino. Very good value for the money.
“Great Location!”
I was a little skeptical when I read some of the past reviews. But we encountered none of the complaints posted by past travelers. The front staff was helpful and curteous. We had a concert at Caesar's we were going to and the walk was about 5 minutes. There was an abundance of restraurants and bars nearby and the river was across the street. We stayed on the 9th floor and the view of the Detroit skyline was magnificant. If I had to complain about anything it would be the elevator which was (imo) very slow. Thank you Travelodge Windsor for an enjoyable stay. We will be back..:)

“Clean, convenient and good value for money”
I stayed at the Travelodge Windsor Downtown in October and was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and spacious, and the front office staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is conveniently located on the waterfront in downtown Windsor, just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the bus terminal (including the tunnel bus to Detroit). The room, service and location were actually more than I expected given the very reasonable price. I paid a few dollars more to have a Riverview room and I would highly recommend doing this - the panoramic view of Detroit was wonderful. A satisfied customer - I'm happy to recommend this hotel and I'll be staying there again.
“Great Location”
I came up from the Detroit area and stayed here for one night. The room was very clean and pretty nice. Great location to the casino and the Windsor strip of bars and clubs.
“Good value for money in downtown Windsor”
If you are looking for a luxury hotel in which everything is elegant, this is not the place for you. But if you mainly need a place to sleep and relax that is convenient to downtown, then this is a good deal for your money. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the location can't be beat. The room and facilities were clean and well appointed, and the view across the river to Detroit was exciting. The hotel could use a paint job and some redecorating. It feels a bit dowdy, and my bed was way too soft. A coffee machine is provided, but I must say that I wouldn't drink the supplied coffee again. The tea-bags are okay, though. The in-house restaurant seemed strangely empty, but they made me an excellent omelette at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday. I was the only customer. Their bagels were stale, though. For a business traveller on a tight budget, or for someone who wants a good location from which to sightsee it is a good deal.
“Nice and cozy”
This hotel had a nice view of the river. The rooms seemed small, but for one night stay, it did not seem to matter. Be prepared to pay for parking, even though you are parking in the lot next to the hotel. The swimming pool was on the small side. However, everyone was friendly and helpful, and above all the rooms were clean. This was a pleasant stay at this hotel.
“Affordable and workable downtown hotel”
We stayed here to attend a concert at the casino, and it was easy walking distance to both the venue and lots of restaurants and shops, as well as the waterfront. No problem checking in, but there was a $10 fee for their parking lot which I hadn't remembered reading about online. Our comforter smelled like someone had spilled a beer on it a while ago, but it didn't bother us enough to complain, so I'm not sure how they would have handled it. The rest of the room and sheets were clean, the climate control worked well, and there was a good range of TV stations. We felt safe walking back from the concert late at night, and there was a security guard just inside the hotel door watching people coming and going. Didn't hear much from other rooms on the floor. We would stay there again.
